Theres a stupid article at spectator UK complaining about podcasts ads podcasts are mostly free most of the revenue comes from the host reading out one or two ads .it's not easy to skip 20 seconds when the ad comes on .

Most podcasts are free to download All the YouTubers I watch have an ad before they main video starts .it costs money to make a YouTube video ,or a podcast

In the sun in a sheltered spot feels like summer.

In the shade in the wind feels like winter.

    Somewhere in between… spring.

Am waiting on a phone call and jittery af, so to look busy I went to look up the funeral deets of a hyper religious person I used to work with (I missed all of the drama up to this am)

Reading thru all the fawning condolences(almost all address to a single member of the family) as expected such lovely things said about the deceased.

Not in a million years from reading these would ppl guess that this person advocated that two young children be made homeless bc they didn't approve of a private decision made by someone else, as per their personal religious beliefs.

Ta the Irish thing of saying only lovely things about the deceased not matter how undeserved they are. Ta2 that I did that and now annoyed about multiple things I cant control.

People who sell crap on classifieds websites, which should be getting put in the bin instead!

Case in point, Mary who sells on my local Gumtree. I use it a bit for selling stuff, but she has been listing stuff for years now, mostly old junk that she should be taking to a charity shop first, or to the council dump/recycling centre second.

It's infuriating seeing sellers like her (there are others too) list stuff...expires, relist, expire, relist, expire .. for years without selling them. She must be a terrible hoarder.

These £5 Sony PC speakers are an example. She's been listing these since before Covid, and they appear continually. Still not sold. She'll die before she sells them ffs

People can give this stuff away on local free cycle Facebook groups. Holding onto junk drives you insane.

True, but they want that fiver for it, and they'll advertise it for 6 or 7 years to get the fiver.

I'd hate to see that woman's house, she has dozens of listing's.

Ive also seem people selling things for £1 or £2. I mean, do you really need that money that badly? Chuck it in the bin.

nice walk around my area. Maybe because of the football the streets were deserted….. think I passed 3 people in 35 minutes, nice sunset over the green, no traffic, no noise, no breeze…..just perfect.
