really good April, best ever, year 3. 6kw system, south facing Limerick - 850.71. Well up on last year which was 681.61. Have battery ordered to be installed next week, so hoping to a good few cheap months to come

April this year is comparable to 2022 (1.6x) for me. Not as good as 2021. Clipping a factor for the first time, though I don't think it huge.

In real money, on the wrong plan. Will likely stay there too at least for now. Few days this month where the rollback would have won outright.

And the daily PV for April

I'm coming up to my first anniversary on May 7th. In April I got 868 kwh from a 5.5kwp , South facing. The figure for April is higher than any other month. About 10 units compared to June 2024. Can I ask the seasoned Solar folk. Was April not just good but spectacular, or was Summer 2024 poor

lads Ive lost connection with my Solis inverter so the only data I have is from ESB Networks. On their graph "Electricity exported to the grid" I presume that is only excess power generated that the house has not used itself?

Is there a way I can get from the ESB data how much generated power the house used itself? Or is the Solis app the only way to find that out? Im recovering from surgery right now so in no physical shape to get up into the attic to try to reconnect, plus Ive tried twice before without success, the dongle just wouldnt connect to my wifi.

Like many posters previous to me above - best ever April on record for me.

Aside: I did get 3 panels added in March 2023, so Apr 2022 isn't a good like for like compared to more recent years.

Today, tomorrow and Sat looks like fairly decent days. Expecting ~25Kwh for me. May 2025 off to a good start! Great time of the year this. Battery usually full and hot water tank up to temp by 12pm. Not even solar noon which is 1:30pm roughly.

My shed "chipped in" with another 230Kw, so ~830Kwh in total off 8.8 Kwp. (South Dublin city) East/South/West
