Apparently to get a drink in Kingsbridge (Hueston) Station you just needed a ticket.

You didn't need to go anywhere just having the ticket to some destination was enough.

    Quare times.

Better now because those who want a drink can get it and those who want to abstain can do so.

Same with all the stations. The Galway-Athenry train would have needed about forty carriages if we all got on.

I don't know, buy you know who I blame for the lack of a TLLS Good Friday special? "This never happened to the other fellow"

But also I think Gay Byrne and possibly PK1 had Good Friday off.

You think that RTÉ would have got a new presenter in to present some music with the CO. The movie Air premieres as a replacement.

    ______

In the end they were just greedy, they all knew one another and knew what to expect more money for no return, it was a secure cash flow, but in fairness they looked for what they wanted and fair dues to them for that, and wouldn't you be doing the same!

Just one more thing .... when did they return that car

That's what's refreshing about international guests like Bruno they don't pander to all that boring crap, about self help and anxiety, they just tell interesting funny stories, that's what we are supposed to have on chat shows. Irish celebs get carried away with all that introspection stuff that is just dull and boring. The contrast between that and Bruno who had loads of anecdotes whereas dermot whelan was just boring, I think he knew that himself aswell

I like the idea of a guest presenter.

What about giving Tommy Tiernan or John Creedon a run out ?

As for this Friday it'll be more air guitar 🎸 than Air for me.

There's a Rolling Stones special on BBC 4.

Doesn't have to be TLLS guest presenter, you may not want to cross promote. Do they have no up and coming presenters? Surely they are either in the middle of negotiations for 3 more seasons with PK or actively looking for a replacement at this stage.

I don't know if they have any new talent in line for the job.

I'm OK with PK but wouldn't mind if someone else took over.

Maybe a woman would shake it up.

What about giving Tommy Tiernan or John Creedon a run out ?

Definitely not Tommy tiernan, while he was very good when he first started he has become stale and boring, he actually doesn't have a wide general knowledge and doesn't know what to ask sometimes, he goes down the same dull rabbit holes, like "have you any regrets" "have you any trauma " . I think he takes himself too seriously, all that run for the presidency stuff has gone to his head

What is everyone else watching tonight instead?

I might give this a watch!

Fans of 'The A-Team' and 'Star Trek' might enjoy this film on TG4
tonight! 'George Peppard' and 'Diana Muldaur' feature!

A promotional image for the film "One More Train to Rob," featuring a scene with several characters and the film's title displayed prominently.

I'm not sure he'd be that bad.

Given the chance to have a go at the "big one" he might rise to the occasion.

I don't have the channels so watched Air. I'm not much of a movie person but I enjoyed it as it's a true story.

The last time Mary Lou was guest she was being asked about being 1st female Taoiseach? There was a feeling of certainty? Or was that with Tubridy?

    Anyway . . .

The above link is a great service to would-be viewers. One glance and I can plan my night's tv without having to switch back to RTE One at intervals to see if there are any interesting or famous guests.

Tonight I can view other channels safe in the knowledge I'm missing nothing on the LLS.

Mary Lou was expecting applause after she gave that speech about the Pope.

Does she not know the audience only applaud when they get the gift basket or when Russell Crowe gets irate?
