The lidl/aldi ad were the girl sends a email to everyone and includes her boss and the boss comes over to her desk dressed like a cleaning lady, and they they have a laugh over some food.

It's **** ad but also the cleaning lady outfit really annoys me for some reason.

    ______

In the end they were just greedy, they all knew one another and knew what to expect more money for no return, it was a secure cash flow, but in fairness they looked for what they wanted and fair dues to them for that, and wouldn't you be doing the same!

Just one more thing .... when did they return that car

Yes, I'm guessing it's some kind of vintage school principal/teacher/nanny/ pinafore from decades ago. Someone with knowledge of historical workwear would know, it looks very victorian. Perhaps the intention of the ad writers was to reinforce the severe spinster female supervisor stereotype from a century ago. Who TF knows what goes in their overfed 'creative' minds.

I hate the 3 broadband ad too just for the hard hat guy saying “we’ll give you free calls” or something. The guys doing the dig on these projects are third party contractures. They couldn’t give a toss whether you rage the service or not.

Feel free to move this if I'm posting in wrong forum. I had just decided to change my provider to Energia. However, after switching on my TV tonight I am now afraid that if I do change to Energia that sometime in the future my partner will dump me for another man.

No, you're okay. If you switched, it's you who will be dumping your partner. It's in the small print that you must be the dumper, not the dumpee.

That ad for Eir on the radio where at the end of the ad the girl should say "Eir……for all" but it sounds like she's giving the score of a football match "Eir……Four All". 😖

Just noticed on that lidl broke down car ad that there's an 80th birthday party balloon in the car, so they're bunking off on showing up, and eating the party food in the car? I'd imagine the 80 year old is doing a jig that they're not turning up, narcissistic fks that they are. Great role models for the kids.

Why are they showing 'Uber Dublin' ads? There are no Ubers in Ireland, just taxis with Uber wrote on them.

The beach ad with the Andy Williams Christmas song on almost every day. I hate it.

Seen one in McDonald's at the airport on Sunday, just a passenger van with UBER letters on the rear windshield. Are these legal?, as in Private hire, what used to be known as Hackneys. You see a lot of these and taxis clogging up the parking there, as they wait to do pickups, without paying for the official taxi rank pickup. Most wont even buy a cuppa in Mac's, genuine customers can't get a space.

I really hate that Pandora ad for mother's day. Kids that look far too old to be talking with that annoying fake baby voice hawking cheap silver tat.

My mum lufs nice things she is my heart.

It would mean so much more if you just made a wonky card out of craft paper.

Their other ad seems to be targetted at gay female couples. You'd be lucky if their junk was silver plated. Similar to H Samuel's tat. Remember their CEO said their Silver plated earrings cost them less than a sandwich from M&S. Actually, a nice sandwich or a sticky bun would be a far nicer gift from a kid.

+1. Seriously disturbing ad - cultism, human sacrifice, cannibalism. Extremely distasteful. Just being controversial to get people talking is not the be all of an ad campaign. Hopefully it backfires and people take their custom elsewhere.

Except your return flight leaves 1h 45m late as ours did a week ago, not even a cuppa offered on board in apology. Just nicked retrieving the car before it slipped past midnight into an extra day's parking charge. Good luck with getting that refunded.
