    "It's going to escalate…"

    Which is fecking bullchite.

I've been using co-codamol for years, but only when I get back or joint pain, as they were prescribed for.

I use about four a day, sometimes only two.

Nowhere near enough to be considered a dependency, and the tabs still work the way they're supposed to - if I put my back out I drop a couple and can feel them kicking in some 40 minutes later.

Escalation is in the hands of the user.

If he's doing sea swimming, Dublin Co Co better raise the sea walls.

I'd have thought he would have been relatively loaded with cash on the hip so to speak to pay his own way.

you actually have a tooth ache and the dentist won't see you for a day or two, now these morons (lacking in self control) want us to organise and pay for a doctor's appointment just to get a box of solpadeine. What a country. Can we have that ghoul of a nordie from alcohol action ireland on next to tell us our over priced booze is too cheap on next please ?

she doesn't even know the difference between a breathalyzer for booze and a drug test. this is the level of idiot we are dealing with

Caller freely and voluntarily admits that she drives off her head on codeine. And she goes undetected when stopped for drink/drugs testing by Gardaí.

Joe should be asking the other callers are they driving while on these tablets. Bet he doesn't.

'Love to get advice from someone on this show'

    Good one caller

it's a joke, it is at garda discretion for the codeine, yet until the more recent drug tests, the cannabis lasted up to 30 days in the urine test. No discretion for that. But that's not a middle aged middle income type person they are dealing with

I'm coming in late to this. I wouldn't touch Solpedeine after having been given it after the birth of my last child in 2003. I was sick as a dog so no more Solpedeine. I wouldn't make a drug addict!
