    Which is fecking bullchite.

    I've been using co-codamol for years, but only when I get back or joint pain, as they were prescribed for.

    I use about four a day, sometimes only two.

    Nowhere near enough to be considered a dependency, and the tabs still work the way they're supposed to - if I put my back out I drop a couple and can feel them kicking in some 40 minutes later.

    Escalation is in the hands of the user.

    Caller freely and voluntarily admits that she drives off her head on codeine. And she goes undetected when stopped for drink/drugs testing by Gardaí.

    Joe should be asking the other callers are they driving while on these tablets. Bet he doesn't.

    it's a joke, it is at garda discretion for the codeine, yet until the more recent drug tests, the cannabis lasted up to 30 days in the urine test. No discretion for that. But that's not a middle aged middle income type person they are dealing with

    I'm coming in late to this. I wouldn't touch Solpedeine after having been given it after the birth of my last child in 2003. I was sick as a dog so no more Solpedeine. I wouldn't make a drug addict!
