Gamepass quests Microsoft Redeem points

Daily rewards were back up to 10 points today on the rewards site, they had dropped to 5 for the last little while. Wonder if this is permanent?

No, not at all. Its been stuck like this since I visited UK in September.

Seems like all change. Be interesting to see at end of month whether it's a positive or negative.

Sad to see him go, but he's right, rewards aren't quests anymore, they are simple daily tasks.

I haven't had to access his channel in more than a year!

Least he's got other stuff on the go and wasn't relying on YT for income :)

I redeemed a bunch of points back at the start of April, got close to 0 points left then I think. Checking the history, I had redeemed before that in August 2023. So between August 2023 and April 2025 (~20 months) I was able to redeem 120,000 points, so that's an average of 6,000 per month.

I know they have changed the earning abilities in the last year, but checking my rewards app I usually get:

• Use the Xbox app: 5 points x 7
• Play a PC game: 10 points x 7 (Ballatro on my ROG Ally)
• Weekly PC Bonus: 150
• Play a game on console: 10 points x 5
• Weekly console bonus: 175
• Play a gamepass game: 10 points x 7
• Game pass weekly streaks: 400 points

So weekly that's an average of 950 points a week. There's also the 2 monthly challenges - Game pass monthly 4-pack: 50 points and Game pass monthly 8-pack: 350 points. So if we average that out we get about 4,500 per month give or take. So the earning opportunities have definitely dropped off.

I do all what Dulpit said plus the searches on the Bing app for 210 points for per day so around 10-11k a month.

I'm just leaving them accumulate in the background with no objective in mind, up to 70kish now. I used a good chunk last year to get gpu which I think expires in March, so I'll see if I want to do something similar then...

I stopped a bit before Christmas - the searches etc were limited for me, console rewards not popping etc Must've redeemed aboutr 250k over the years of doing it though but not worth the hassle for me anymore
