I would love for a banished faithful to say ye bunch of idiot faithfuls, let the traitors win who are playing great, instead of it's a game, love ye all, etc., bs

The card game was cool, trying to think how I'll implement that in a future online Traitors now.

The issue for this crowd is they're still focusing on personal nuances and behaviors and not focusing on the actual really suspicious stuff... Like almost everything Linda does essentially.

Francesca getting upset about who slimed her is just another example of this…it was a game within the game, to win both money and shields. Forget about it and move on with finding the Traitors rather than getting butthurt over a bit of goop in your hair.

I thought Leanne was going to be a dark horse and quite intelligent behind the appearance she presents. Tonight is categorical evidence... She's not that bright. And the pout on her because someone actually voted her. I'd actually love it if she got banished at this stage, the meltdown might be great to watch.

Linda is a dead woman walking. Unless this crowd are as braindead as the Aussie version she'll surely be gone in a day or two. Minah has played the crowd like a fiddle of late but she's sticking her head above the parapet to save Linda a bit too much, needs to let her go or she'll be under suspicion herself before long.

Linda remains, unreal , someone with actual real evidence against her from day 1

I'm actually loving Linda. So woefully bad at this game, yet every time she coasts through 😂 Actually kind of rooting for her to make it towards the end now.

Hoping Fozia survives the card game, think she's got a lot more to give to the game than Leon. Would love to see her getting a fair crack of the whip.

Linda would have been gone ages ago if she had been in it last year.

The Irish one is a bit of a headwreck.

Think it says it all about this year's faithful that I couldn't care less who goes out of the card game "cliffhanger" - one is unlikeable, the other is anonymous. Linda will be next out the door now surely after the latest miss with Dan. Minah will need to do a better recruitment job next time, Alexander would be a good choice, maybe too good though.

We're half way through and there seems to be an awful lot of people left in the game. To allow for recruitment there will need to be a double murder or two at some point. Or allow both a recruitment and a murder on the same night to keep things moving along.

For heaven’s sake Linda might as well be walking around with the black cape over her head and they still wouldn’t vote her out ..

And something thats often bothered me is how do the Traitors manage to disappear every night and no one cops it ?

Better episode tonight. Everyone think that Linda had placed the bucket behind them and then not realizing it at the round table and voting for Dan.

The immunity won seems pointless when you can be banished.

Also did Anna tell the producers after she'd got the gunk in her face that they shouldn't pour it over someone face, how come everyone else got it down the back.

Linda is very lucky really at this point.

    ______

Just one more thing .... when did they return that car

I felt so sorry for Anna getting all that gunk poured on her head and face while everyone else got it poured on their backs.
How bad was Leon at playing the card game, pulling faces & tutting. He should have just handed Alexander the life card.
I can’t believe Linda is still there. Her performance at breakfast alone should have been enough to get her banished.

And not a mention of Freddie at the round table after Livi getting the bullet. 🤷‍♂️

It really is herdlike and I suppose we all can be like that in real life too.

'Please don't shout at me' Francesca is annoying me the most with thick-as-shyte Leanne a close second.

I don't particularly rate Fozia but hopefully she wins out over bland Leon.

I think Minah's name will begin to be dropped quite a bit from now on as the herd is thinning out and it'll be interesting to see how she combats that.

Hope the British army terrorist gets voted out soon. Minah has made a few slips and has a bit of a temper, I think that's going to cost her in the end. Linda gone soon so I think the new recruit will be the favourite, depending on how competent they are.

    Mod - warned.

How Linda has lasted this long is a mystery. I think Fozia would make a great traitor. She's ruthless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Meauldsegosha

I wonder will there be a twist with the final two left in the card game. Will they both face the Traitors with one being murdered and one being recruited. Why else would there be a face to face murder?
They did something similar in the Australian Traitors.

Really enjoyed the show last night but yes, absolutely bizzare that she’s not gone -she’s demonstrating Ian Bailey levels of exaggerated behaviour at this stage - what more does she have to do to attract the wrong attention from the faithfuls

We’re only 1/2 way through - I feel Minah will become history before the end of the show - I don’t see her remaining to the last - I think she’s done a great job to date but I reckon the producers will manufacture a way for her to be killed just to shake things up completely. You can already see how they’re trying to put the traitors at risk of being found out by the faithfuls - I reckon when they were filming they realised at least Minah could last to the end no problem so were fearful of low ratings and too much predictability

Has to be a twist. Pointless playing that game with two people really.

Well, the way they are playing, it seems pretty pointless, but they are not playing clever at all.

The chance that a player picks your life card you are holding should be 50%, but by not shuffling your deck on receiving a card, you are gifting the other player a 100% chance at picking the correct card. Why are they not mixing up their cards so that the picker is only guessing? have they never played card games like this before?

There is no rule against it. You would expect if they were not allowed, then it would have been in the rules that claudia said.

"in front of you, you each have two cards. They are death cards. However, a little glimmer of hope, one is a life card.

You will all take it in turn to swap a card with another player.

Whoever is holding that life card at the end of the round, escapes and lives another day.

Whoever is left sitting on their own at the table is the murder,

Its time to play death match"

I assume there's plenty of stuff said off screen.

I could be wrong of course, just an assumption i made.

Yes, that makes sense. Allows them to make more progress with the game as they still have so many contestants. Though I'm surprised they didn't run the episode on for another minute or two last night and leave the cliffhanger at the point where the Traitors are brought out to them to make their decision.

    This 100%

If it was me I would be dropping so many F bombs as I left that they'd never leave another Irish person on the show again.

It must be in the t&c of ther contract that they can't do this because there is just no way in 3 seasons of such a tense show that every 2nd faithful isn't having an absolute meltdown. It must be heavily edited and re-shot to what is shown to us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,115 ✭✭✭deisedude

The round tables are 2-3 hours long and edited down to 15 minutes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,694 ✭✭✭✭2nd Row Donkey

2-3 hours of round table. Wow, that must be exhausting to take part in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,115 ✭✭✭deisedude

I can't remember which article I read that in but they deliberately make it uncomfortable for the contestants to make it more likely to get an emotional reaction. The round table room is supposed to be freezing cold for this reason

...or imagine a traitor got the huff when they got voted off and named the other traitors and ruined the entire season!
