What a silly selection by the Traitors. Definitely the right choice to turn them down.

Anna made no sense to me as a selection anyways.

The thought of her going out to the boat decision and her being revealed as a traitor would just be embarrassing!

    Hope they don't murder Fozia.

Genuinely stupid option. They're only thinking one round table ahead. Be much more interesting to go for someone free of scrutiny and still have the group gunning for Freddie and Anna anyway

if you're a traitor, why would you want to bring another person on board that can go the distance? It doesn't make you more likely to win and means you're more likely to be stabbed in tbe back.

Giving the faithfuls a traitor does help you.

Anna seemed left field but we didn't see enough of her prior.

Don't know why they didn't recruit Livvie now after Tyler was banished.. she'd have taken it up and could easily go under the radar, provided she eases up on the theatrics.

Is this the least likeable bunch of Faithfuls ever

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 18,561 ✭✭✭✭fritzelly

    Livvie is becoming very annoying

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,105 ✭✭✭RoTelly

Kind of stupid of Freddie TBH.

Linda is very obvious I was sure she would be in the running to be voted out but they turned around to Lisa.

I am not sure Lisa's I am a priest will help her, which means that the Faithful may now be thinking Lisa and Freddie.

If Anna gets murder I'd suspect that Freddie and Lisa remain as prime suspects.

Why Anna didn't tell Charlotte that the note said something about being a brave woman, clearly showing that its 2 woman rather than a woman and a man or 2 men.

    ______

Just one more thing .... when did they return that car

^ Why would "brave woman" in the note indicate 2 women Traitors? 🤔

It was "strong, independent woman" or similar, first thing my other half said was that it sounded like it came from two women instead of a mixed group, or men.

After Leon putting Tyler's name up, I'd be looking at Leon if I were a faithful.

Jaysus but Livi is a dose.

I am enjoying Dan's eye rolls while she is talking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,080 ✭✭✭✭Panthro

Yeah that eye roll gave me a giggle!

Minah is playing a brilliant game...I dont think Linda is at all tbh...she looks so shifty when pushed.... but the traitors are absolutely useless! Freddie is getting a rough ride despite doing very little.

Kaz treated very poorly, the fact he at one stage had to basically leave and eat somewhere else :(

God that was brilliant, poor Tyler shafted out of nowhere🫠

Minah planted that seed with Freedie about the clicky group. It will either come back to haunt her or else it's a brilliant move.

    Freddie is gone tomorrow.

Quote of the night about Anna from the traitors 'She just talks so much',

Do they not know she is Irish🤣

Not sure about the casting this year. The faithful are an unfortunate combination of unlikeable and hopeless. Not sure what the producers were thinking with the picks. Though it was quite enjoyable seeing how quickly the little clique turned on itself. Minah is the star of the show so far, hiding in plain sight.

I'm fairly certain there's going to be another twist in the show where two of the cast are somehow linked in real life. Something like the now departed Tyler and Livi being related, or Leanne and Leon being a couple or something like that. The producers will likely have wanted to create another "Diane" moment and the two sisters weren't it as they announced their relationship from the start.

They'll probably kill off Anna now, thinking she hasn't told anyone about the recruitment attempt. They should probably recruit Fozia or Alexander - both look competent and Minah will need some help and cover when Linda gets found out.

Just caught up on Uncloaked - shame Jack didn't get back in, seems like a good laugh and would have been fun in the castle

Bring on a strong player, oust Linda because she's drawing too much heat. Keep the new recruit in your back pocket until late game and then look like a hero for finding them. It's not without risk of betrayal, but it does splits your own scrutiny across an extra traitor

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,272 ✭✭✭Cosmo Kramer

I think the more interesting question is, if you're a faithful and you think you've worked out who a traitor is, what is the benefit of going public on it at this stage of the game? If you're right and they get banished you don't really gain from it beyond the initial celebration because the traitors will just recruit someone else anyway, and they'll be harder to find. And if you're wrong and a faithful gets banished it just turns the spotlight straight back on to you.

As much as I don't find Jake particularly likeable, he's potentially playing a good game here. He's convinced Linda is a traitor, but he's not going after her yet because there's no point to doing it. Better to leave her where she is until later in the game and out her near the end when it's too late to replace her. It's a bit of a flaw in the format to be honest.

I think she more than fancies him, she is besotted with him!

I don't like the Uncloaked format, visual podcast thingy. Feels a bit YouTubey.

Can they not just get rid of the mics and make it a show.

(probably sound like an old fart!)

Truth be told I rarely ever watch Uncloaked, absolutely no interest in it. Unless there's a reveal or something like that on it then I turn off after the show is over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,252 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Minah is playing a stormer all right. Which makes her choice of Anna to recruit a head scratcher. With Linda been so weak I would have thought she would recruit someone with more nous about them. .

But the collapse of the clique was great to watch. I am liking Leon more and more.

I wouldn't so much call it a flaw as just another part of the game the Faithfuls have to play. Yes, as a Faithful your aim is to banish Traitors until there are none left. But the Faithfuls also greatly outnumber the Traitors and most of them will either be banished or murdered before the end. So do you go gung-ho and be one of the loudest Faithfuls and potentially put a target on your own back for murder, or do you sit back and try to stay a bit more quiet but potentially raise people's suspicions that you're actually a Traitor? Faithfuls in previous series' have been banished even quite late in the game because a) they've sat back too much and not spoken up against people at the Roundtable, and b) when they maybe speak about who they think is a Traitor during the course of the day but then not at the Roundtable is raises suspicions about how they might be trying to set people up. So as a Faithful, there are benefits to not speaking up about who you think is a Traitor, but there are also risks.

I wouldn't call these things flaws in the format, as there are various ways these things can go. As we saw with Anna, just because the Traitors can recruit someone, doesn't mean that person will accept, which means the Traitors lost a chance to murder someone that night. The Traitors will likely murder Anna in the coming days, particularly if she reveals they tried to recruit her which could mean the other Faithfuls really trust Anna. Or if Anna had accepted and become a Traitor, it's likely she would have been thrown to the Faithfuls so they could find a Traitor and protect Linda and Minah for another while.

I’ve just finished watching the US season that had Ekin Su in it. Phaedra was such a good traitor.
