Yes that's stuff coming from the Northwest is difficult to gauge, will it hold up as it heads towards the South. It certainly has potential but not certain

Rain only in Sligo presently. 2.9c and windy. Still too much Atlantic modification with that NW sloppy wind.

It's only snowing here in NCD!

Reading the posts here and I said better look out window and low and behold their it is!

A very light dusting but the lamppost shows that it's still going so you never know.

Snow shield holding in Drogheda north for now. Frosty out, roads and cars are white in the estate here

After the earlier heavy snow showers this eve they have changed to sleet eastmayo area near knock airport.

no snow in Cork City today. A good few showers. I wasn’t expecting frost tonight given the temperature was set to stay above freezing but just went outside, cars covered in a thick layer of frost (raindrops frozen) and the roads and footpaths are sparkling, as if a sudden freeze. I’m suspecting a bit of freezing rain based on what is on the cars?

Nice to see white surfaces here in Dublin 5, the thinnest of layers but nice to at least get some snow and have that wintery feel

Horrible night in Galway now, very windy with messy sleety rain.

… and it stopped. There could be 1 cm, if you gathered it all from our street and piled it on a postage stamp.

I went to shower because the snow was not up to much so I was fairly surprised to come out to a (kind of) dusting!

Folks sorry, don't mean to derail but any of our folks along the M7-M9 know how she is driving/weather wise? I've to be in Waterford with a delivery for 10am, leaving from Newbridge after my first drop at 7am, please and thank you.
