Bruno... If Amorim doesn't realize he's a limited player, we're destined for the same shite.

Terrible ball for that third and was all over the place defensively. There is no way Ugarte should have come off and Bruno put back there. Just substitute Bruno for once

Because Ugarte was on a yellow card presumably but yeah, Mainoo has been awful today.

It's gonna be a long and painful few months.

another game, another couple of very big individual errors

For a home game against this crowd Utd haven’t exactly created many clear cut chances and any chances that are created are rarely finished.

Just when you think Utd have hit rock bottom they find a way to fall further.

Kepa's made a few great saves. Onana has been Onana.

We haven't been great but very unlucky so far. Definitely not a 0-3 game

It’s the second game in a row we’ve taken off Ugarte and lost any semblance of a midfield.

Mainoo has regressed...not seeing anything in him this season...

We've played very poorly. We're definitely not unlucky to be loosing 0-3.

Any game is a 3-0 game when you're gifting chances to the opposition.

If Amorim is going to get us playing decent stuff eventually, sides like Bournemouth who've been getting handed results against us for years are hopefully going to get what's coming to them.

Right now, we're a laughing stock, thanks to the leeches who still own 71% of the club.

We've actually created a lot of chances today. Just been one of those days when our finishing hasn't been up to standard.

Where we have been extremely poor is defensively. Kobbie had probably his worst performance since becoming a regular. Maz has been poor. Maguire & Martinez have looked lost and Onana hasn't exactly been a beacon of hope either

You'd fancy new manager bounce Wolves to beat us next, Newcastle are tricky then Liverpool.

    Bloody unmerciful list of fixtures.

How is this performance the glazers fault?

Time is contagious, everybody's getting old.

    My advice...

Avoid this thread for a few days, enjoy Christmas.

At this stage the club needs to fire sale half the squad, take the hit and rebuild the side.

The club is a mess because of them.

Everything wrong at United is the Glazers fault.

We are a shambles defensively. No-one should be fooled by last weekend, that was mostly about a City side playing at their worst in more than 15 years. 3 goals conceded again, same as Vs Forest. 4 conceded to Spurs in the LC. We are soooo easy to score against.

This ain't improving any time soon

Players playing **** is nothing to do with the Glazers

It’s as bad as last year’s performance under ETH.

Mainoo has had plenty of games like this. He's another that United shouldn't be developing in the first team.

I don't see a way out of the current situation without replacing the whole team who've pretty much all been bought or brought through in the last 2.5 years.

Would be funny if it wasn't so tragic. Funny for opposition fans I guess...

It has been said that Amorim will get more or less a free season here and in the eyes of all but the most idiotic fans he will, but if results continue to be this embarrassing it wont take long until the press/media start putting the boot in.

What an absolute mess the team is.

    Zero new manager bounce

Bournemouths biggest win of the season. Happy Christmas eh.

Hojlund, Garnacho, Amad, Zirkzee Mainoo, Yoro.

Lovely young footballers who could do very well for the club in years to come. But they're young. Too young. They haven't the grit, determination or guile to be expected to carry this team. And yet they are. Week in week out. And it's been that way for years now. It's how I think Rashford, Martial and others have failed to progress at the club. This team needs a spine of experienced, battle hardened proven winners, in their prime. And then weave the young players into that team.

These lads will get disenchanted, disinterested and drift away the way things are going.

It is when the majority of the players were bought by the Glazers for managers hired and the fired by the Glazers at a club run into the ground by the Glazers.

If the club had been run properly over the last twenty years we wouldn't be in this mess to begin with.

So by virtue of the fact that the Glazers have fvcked the club for decades, this result, and every other mauling we've suffered in the last decade is their fault.

I think after you've started the season you're probably better off bringing an interim to improve what's there rather than someone who's going to start a new system fresh mid season without the players there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,730 ✭✭✭Caustic

There is stuff thats happening that we should be able to be clear up obviously a team will conceed from set pieces but for us it seems it's every games, unforced errors another one that is happening way too much and seemingly every player is capable of it, must be 5 or 6 players that have done something recently that results in a goal from a brain fart. That and of course a side low on confidence learning a new system.

I had hoped we might be lucky and click and win a few games that we shouldn't buy I guess we got to strap in.for the season and let the manger sort it out little by little. My expectations for the season now pretty much on the floor hopefully we see hard work and players getting used to the system by the end of the season.

A bonus would be the injuries to calm down and no more drama

That process began before he even arrived.

The fact that he's lost a few games is an absolute tonic for the press. They hate United and love this cycle of "Crisis club Manchester United" headlines.

Nowhere is this more obvious than in the Irish sports media, where it's always been a scouse mafia setup. Radio commentary coverage of United games is full of all the usual guff, now with added salt for Amorim, they've already got their speeches typed out for his sacking.

I'd prefer to see us struggle now and adapt to play a cohesive style going forward than having a Solksjaer style new manager bounce and flatlining over the following two seasons yet again.

There's no guarantees, but we're seriously hamstrung by our financial situation and the fact our squad is full of players not fit for purpose.

Which is what the manager wanted but try telling that to the control freak running the show.

Zirkzee was young player of the year in Serie A last season.

Completed the most dribbles in the league.

Comes into United and they hoof the ball to him. In 2 different systems.

Thought he took up good positions at times in the first half but the distance between him and the others in the front 3. He needs to get the ball with options to play off.

Bruno was terrible the first half of last season and good in the second half. I hope there's similar this season as he's been awful again this season even given the freedom Amorim's system allows him.

Zirkzee was a bad signing, he's simply not good enough, whoever sanctioned that signing should be sacked.

He was released by Bayern Munich, and went to the dizzy heights of Bologna.. for 6'4" he's poor in the air , awkward as fck, no real strengths to speak of and it shows in his appearances.
