    Thanks for organising. Fairytale is songwriting genius, no question imo.

    It is interesting that there are non-Christmas songs that were number one at Christmastime (Caravan of Love, The Power of Love). Also, some songs I never heard of and some songs that probably could have been included instead of others (A Winter's Tale, Stay Another Day for example)

    While I think U2's cover of Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) is great it really is Darlene Love. I never associated Santa Claus is Comin' To Town with Bruce Springsteen, the Gene Autry songs)

    While I'm at it Christmas songs that do nothing for me:

    Step Into Christmas, 2000 miles, The Eagles one, the Queen one, The Beach Boys one and I can't stand Lonely This Christmas

    Loved this and although my top choice of 2000 miles didn't get in Fairytale would have been a favourite too .
