I’m just in from a Christmas party it will take me a while to calm down and relax.

What’s your reason for being up so late?

I’ve been an insomniac since I’ve been in my late teens. My sleeping is much improved though not perfect…

I used to find it incredibly frustrating but I embrace it now, I actually enjoy the peace and quiet, worst thing about insomnia is trying to fight it..Now… enjoying live cricket on tv, catching up on social media/news and the odd thing elsewhere..relaxed and happy… gonna make a drink in a sec and just watch this sport….

Christmas shopping → beers → wine

I've one small glass of wine left and it's not enough to tackle the sense of world weariness, so I'll probably be wired and not fall asleep until 8 a.m, then not wake up until 4 p.m, and subsequently wonder where everything went wrong.

Not sure, just woke. Probably because something annoyed me yesterday and I haven't got it off my chest!

I reckon seconds after creating the thread I conked on the couch. Rolled into bed around 7 and up proper at 9. So glad I don’t drink too much I couldn’t handle a hangover.
A tip of the hat to all the parents up minding babies on nighttime feeding.

now a lazy day ahead hopefully with some fresh air.

I'm ill, and I've been in bed all day dosing in & out of sleep.

Just got up to take some medication, rub some Vicks on me, change the bin full of snotty tissues beside me, & change my half soaked sweating PJ's.

I'm not even complaining about the sweats, it's given a bit of relief to the shivers I've had all day.

Can you break that down sloooowly please

I wish you felt better! I hope it passes soon Sinead. Mind yourself!

I hope so too! It's annoying the heck out of me. I'll be in bed for the day tomorrow aswel & praying I'm half ok for Monday.

I've been like this since yesterday morning & went straight to bed after work.

I'm snuggled up now with a hot water bottle hoping the shivers don't return 🤞🤞🤧

Can you break that down sloooowly please

decided to watch the live cricket. It’s just ‘ok’… not mega entertaining. About 40 minutes ago, tried to sleep but I’m for whatever reason wide awake. TV back on. Just feeling like it’s about 7.28pm and not 3.28am which is

presuming if you’re in Ireland it’s an early bed time. You’d be forgiven for being awake.
