Those ammunitions were used by both armies. I think the Russian claim is rather that those casualties didnt actually occur there at all.

I was asked for a link. I provided a link that states forensics say a large part of the victims show signs of being artillery victims. Rather than torture and execution victims like the Ukrainians claim is/was. Its just an inconsistency which is one of the reasons why I said I'm not 100% convinced.

Whatever we can go in circles til the cow comes. I already said it looks likely it was Russia I'm merely not being 100% convinced. What else you want me to say?

    Nothing.

So we don’t have to waste our time reading nonsense.

Stop replying to me with meaningless guff then. Reply when you have actual content o maybe even not at all. Hint: It was a rhetorical question, it didnt require an answer.

Anyway fewer replies fewer notifications for me and I'm less tempted to go back here. Win/win for everyone.

Nah I think I was pretty consistent, but it's a dialogue of the deaf anyway (which was main point I was making above) - just a waste of time really.

The Soviets and now Russia definitely match or even beat the US for "murder and deceipt" as you put it.

(edit: Also not sure what you mean by that comment on "backing down". The Soviet Union/Warsaw pact "bloc" collapsed due to various internal problems, and that ended the Cold war. They did not back down from challenging the US/Western countries to avoid a 3rd world war, they just could not continue!

Also modern Russia is not the late Soviet Union, politically. I fear the regime in modern Russia might be the most attracted to use of military force to solve their problems that they have had for a very long time.)

Limiting scope to current events, you have USA enabling and winking at an ongoing genocide in Palestine by favourite "pet"/"special child" Israel in my opinion.

However you have an actual world head policeman, Russia, a nuclear power and perm. member of the UN Security Council no less, land grabbing, committing war crimes and crimes against humanity off its own bat in Ukraine and probably proliferating WMD to countries that are under UN security council sanctions too (North Korea).

There is no question in my mind which is the more f-cked up situation, but you just do not want to see that.

I didn't make any massively wild assumptions, but the search function on this site is quite poor so can't be bothered trying to find the post in thread where you mentioned non-Irish background.

My main assumption was it is some country a lot bigger and far more powerful with a more impressive history (on the might & right side of relationships) than Ireland (which isn't much of a stretch now is it!).

Those ammunitions were used by both armies.

Just like long range drones and missiles are used by both armies. But one is using them to strike military targets and one is using them to strike hospitals and random civilian gatherings.

"Not all of the deaths were executions, a large number were from random cluster munitions fired at civilians" is just a pretty silly defence or explanation. All evidence still points to a significant portion of the dead in Bucha/Irpin as being essentially executed.

Well it seems the Russians went into the streets, tied the hands of the victims and then called in the artillery. What a strange war tactic.

It looks like history is starting up again.

C—- F —— while reading your post, ‘semantics’ , ‘ going around in circles’ and ‘splitting hairs’ come to mind. Will you for God Sake ‘ get up the yard’ and behave yourself. There is a very serious war going on initiated 109% by Russia only and for reasons that are Putin’s. OWN OPINIONS - and he has an encyclopaedia of them, at least one for EVERY occasion

You have never seen someone having to back up there claims??? Really?

thankfully another user provided it to you. I'm sure you just happened to remember the month and year off the top of your head before replying.

Now you are going to have to explain how

"The original French forensics found that a large part of the bodies found in Bucha showed artillery/flechette impact. Rather than torture or summary execution or similar."

When the article says dozens of bodies in mass graves of hundreds

“We are seeing a lot mutilated (disfigured) bodies,” said Pirovsky. “A lot of them had their hands tied behind their backs and shots in the back of their heads. There were also cases with automatic gunfire, like six to eight holes on the back of victims. And we have several cases of cluster bombs’ elements embedded in the bodies of the victims.”

Is some sort of a defense that bucha was some fort of false flag. Or some sort of defense against russian war crimes.

Bucha will sadly only end up being the tip of the Iceberg in terms of Russian atrocities committed.

And they’ve had over 2 years now in some areas to wipe any traces of their ‘liberation’ of said area

They are scum. Russia and anyone who supports them are the absolute scum of the earth. They are a stain on humanity.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,636 ✭✭✭zv2

They are also dropping grenades from drones on the citizens of Kherson city. I suppose they'll say they are nazis plotting to send infected birds to Moscow.

It looks like history is starting up again.

Some of the civilians executed by scum of the earth Russian troops in Bucha were on bicycles.

But sure what... they could have used them to invade Russia. Even children. Even old men.

The actual vatnik excuses are at the same level of credibility.

Bonus points for trying to use artillery to cover up the atrocities and then get vatniks to claim it was a false flag.

Vatnik gonna vatnik no matter how outrageous the Russian atrocity or unbelievable the lies to excuse it. We saw the same when a civilian airliner was shot down by Russias little green men. Every excuse, exploiting the fog of war, demanding impossible levels of proof... when every credible reputable agency and expert establishes Russia as being behind it.

Yes, intertwined, but those links are breaking down by the month. Numerous Ukrainians in touch with relations in Ruzzia have testified to their relations reproducing Putainist guff word-for-word, claiming that they're nazis and satanists. This is how you dehumanize a people and a country and make it easier to kidnap, starve, torture and kill. Because they're not people like us any more; they're anti-God and religion, persecuting the church, satanists, woke, brainwashed tools of the west, banderites, zombies blah blah blah.

You don't buy that the Ruzzians went in ''like SS''? Why not…they'done it before. They did it in 1940 in Poland, they did it in '56 in Hungary, they did it in Afghanistan and even if the hapless mobik is reluctant to commit these crimes, its pretty obvious that the FSB, the Kadryovites and Wagner have no such scruples. When Ruzzian troops are listening to poison like this on TV and social media its no surprise they're ready to treat ordinary Ukrainians like vermin to be exterminated, deported or raped.

I’m glad you brought this up again. You tried this on the Vatnik thread, but it closed before I could respond.

The dogs on the street know Stalin killed millions of Soviets. Actually Ukrainians. Obviously you think they did something to deserve it like the heinous crime of being grateful for the Nazi invasion… that’s how bad things were under the Russians. You clearly have no shame.

They're unrestrained in the sense that they have no compunction about using targeted violence against anybody they see fit. Example; Stalin's USSR didn't use indiscriminate violence, Nazi style, against the population of the Baltic states in 1940 and 1941. They just coldly and callously rounded up nearly a quarter of a million people and deported them to Siberia. 28 000 from Estonia alone died from starvation, cold and disease far from their homes. Otherwise they just used selective terror, murdering people by the hundreds or the thousands in actions such as the Rainiai or Tartu massacres in which ''only'' 80 and 200 people were murdered, several after torture and mutiliation. This may not be Nazi-like, in the Oradour sense, but its not much better and is fully its equal in cruelty. It's also genocide as this crime doesnt necessitate the physical extermination of a people but can include the destruction of their culture and of their leadership.

Unfortunately your link doesnt support your claims.

According to a number of witnesses in Bucha ,fléchette rounds were fired by Russian artillery a few days before forces withdrew from the area at the end of March.

Given the Bucha was invaded on 12 March, the Russians didnt withdraw until 31 March. Thats at 19 days in which they unleashed evil on civilian population.

The same article links the another article covering the atrocities committed by Russia in the weeks before hand.

A few days later, Vyacheslav talked to a group of soldiers for an hour when they came to check the household’s passports. “I asked them, ‘Why are you doing this?’ and they replied that it was just orders. They knew that other units were killing civilians, but said it wasn’t them,” he said.

You have zero evidence to support your claims. It is an opinion without basis.

As I said, confirmation bias in action.

Will not be so easy to hide the bodies of the people they have murdered, the all seeing sattleite eys in the sky, see and record everything.Even buried and hidden burial sites.

I never got on you with you but at least I sort of grudgingly respected you. But it turns out your veil of analysis and research and integrity is just that. I could say more but I think I'll leave it at that. Enjoy yourself with your 'friends' in here. But never expect me to take you seriously ever again anywhere here.

I will leave you all to it on this thread now. Enjoy yourselves with your Telegram news about mad Putin and Koreans and laser weapons lol. I'm sure the Endsieg is just around the corner and the yanks probably will get the Nobel peace price for their selfless support.

Ukraine are extremely good with targeting killings on high profile officers behind enemy lines.

Could be Ukraine, but I'd never rule out the possibility of internal Russian squabbling

True could be that as well. But reading it I say it was Ukraine. Just the timing of the prosecutor charging him and then he is killed. Like he was told to charge him as the mission was about to happen.
