Current Trending 'X'/twitter eXodus | Where to? Bluesky, Threads, Mastodon or alternative?

As an experiment I used this 'X' list of MEPs 2024-2029 (646 members) and fed it to SkyFollowerBridge and it found 187 non verified BlueSky accounts. Accounts could include imposters, bogus account or false matches. 28.9% of MEPS!

Looks like the crackdown on imposters is in effect. Michael Martin is absent from the platform and 1 of 2 for Simon Harris is still up.

@hawley On Block list I knew I had seen this below post before, found it again in scrolling an account for reply on another topic. I will tryout the instructions on my alt account. Hope you get notified with the tag on an edited post.

I thought my 'Xitter' account is been throttled because of me having my bluesky handle in my profile and also posting about it!

Got this on my account today. I know it is just a way to encourage you to get premium!

Due to the 'Invalid Handle' bug on Bluesky are you correctly linking to your profile. In forums/websites. This is especially true for accounts with personal/domain handle profiles.

Lucky for me as I setup my corkiejp.github.io page to be a redirect to my account, I only need to change it there and on a few other places, webpage recently created. I am now wondering if I used it incorrectly in other websites/social profiles!

But could you clarify what question your asking?

Users on X, which Musk has branded the "everything app," have been fleeing the platform. As a result, X alternative Bluesky has seen a sudden surge in user signups and daily active users.

Also for #permalinkdidprofile just click on your own tag in a post and resulting link will contain your 'did' string, use when sharing your link on other socials/websites and you won't need to worry if you change handle in the future or get 'Invalid Handle' reported on your account.
