Make discussions private?

When you click Dial Hard's profile, you're seeing discussions listed at the bottom of their profile? Are the listed ones from a restricted category? I don't see any on initial load:

However, if I click "More Discussions" (multiple times), their discussions start to load:

It's not a permissions issue, it's a searching/timing issue. I suspect it's related to the number of posts by the user - each page will only look back a certain number of posts, and if there's no discussions started by the user in that window, it'll show the "access" message. Scratch that theory, Peregrinus' profile shows all the discussions in the index that they've started, covering a much bigger posts window

Hmmmm… Are the first three discussions you see the same ones as in my second screenshot? i.e. "Beer ad…", "Can someone…", "Stupid JSA…"?

Then I suspect it is related to which discussions I have permissions to see.

Theory: When I first load the profile page, it attempts to grab the discussions, but it comes up against a discussion I don't have visibility on and stops searching. When I click "More Discussions", it starts searching again after the reported post. If it finds discussions I do have visibility on, it displays them, but stops again if it finds another one I can't view
