That may be a reasonable expectation but cancelled cars usually appear in Inventory. Many people get annoyed that a car of the same spec appears in Inventory while they are still awaiting. However, I suspect that cars will appear in Inventory over coming weeks as some clients are likely to reject as they favour a 252 reg.

Hi should I buy a new 2025 Tesla model 3 RWD( first time buying an EV) on Hire purchase over 3 years €15K down and €634 pm for 3 years at .99% APR …. I was originally thinking of buying a 2021 (LFP batteries) model with low mileage ( hard to find) however dealers are looking for between €25-27K model 3's seem to be holding there value well. Any advice appreciated ?

Defo buy the new Model 3. My wife is going to get one. There's a chance they will try to match you with a car before the end of December but more likely it will be Q1 2025

Also, although Finance Ireland have said they will honour the 0.99% finance rate into 2025, it’s likely that the price of the 2025 Model 3 will increase by a couple of thousand when the EU-Chinese tariffs are applied. Unless Tesla absorb some/all of them.

February is the current est. delivery date for RWD so you will get a 2025.

when you pay the €250 deposit you will get an email asking you to download the Tesla app and that will walk you through the steps available. How you pay for the car I.e cash or finance is one of those steps.

Tesla land cars here in Feb/Mar, June, and Aug/Sept, each year.

Or buy my February 2022 blue RWD with 35000kms and in perfect condition. I decided to buy a new one to take advantage of the 0.99% rate and I’d be happy to do a reasonable deal for the current model. Any deal we would do would mean a few quid more for me than the derisory trade in offer and a fair discount for you on the dealer prices. Still more than a year of the manufacturers warranty left so anything a dealer might offer is moot.

Fair enough, my point was that what happened last year has no bearing on this year and cars "will be and are being delivered in November and most likely Decemeber". Those waiting will be anxious enough and I didn't want them to worry unnecessarily if they had delivery slots for this year

Looks unlikely that tariffs will be applied to Chinese EV imports, substantial resistance from large EU countries (Germany) who fear a retaliatory response from China which would damage their interests, as China is a large export market for German cars. Although voted through by the EU .. most likely a tactic to leverage their negotiation position. What is more likely is agreement by China to agree minimum prices for their cars within Europe, which if set at the right level achieve the primary objective of protecting European markets from below cost imports. Time will tell.

not sure what this means exactly yet, if China agrees to sell EV no cheaper than say 30k, does it mean they wont be any tariff

I did look at them but I figured for the extra 120 (4 tyres) that the better performance of the 4s's and the MFS (rim protection) might make it the more sensible option. As careful as I've tried I've managed to skim the wheels twice.
