Websites have rules, follow those rules if you wish to stick around, break the rules then youll be punished. Its really that simple when it comes to posting on any website.

Would you mind explaining why we dont have freedom of speech, what is boards / people so scared off?

Is it for legal reasons, scared that you will be sued or something more fundamental?

Or am I not privvy to know

On Boards.ie however, there is no “free speech”, never has been. Anyone is free to post here but there are conditions, rules that must be followed.

Oh so you want your questions answered but you wont answer anyone elses, so you just want to give out.

The reason there is no free speech is because the owners of the website are entitled to make up whatever rules they like and have them enforced on their website but its okay because it all some big conspiracy against users.

Because boards is a private enterprise, meaning you are provided a platform to post provided you post within the site's rules. Freedom of speech has never been guaranteed

Serious criticism of Islam isn't allowed on here which is shocking considering we live in a western country. The fallacy known as "islamaphobia" some how given credence here. Christianity on the other hand can be (rightly) slated no problem.

This alone makes it clear what way this website has gone. Must be getting some funding to sell their souls?

You'll find most people would but the establishment is gone completely "woke" in the western world to the point we don't have the free speech we fought for hundreds of years anymore . The MSM is completely compromised and it's sad to see message boards like this go the same way.

In answer to your question, boards is useful in some aspects, but very frustrating with lack of freedom..
