@boardsdotie44 actually if you bother to read the thread you will see that yes i did indeed ask what your feedback is then in post number 6 I asked you why you are still posting here, then in post 7 you asked your question so no you didnt ask first and no matter what answer you get it wont be satisfactory to you. So since you want to just dance around in circles Ill leave you to it as you are not been genuine posting here in my opinion!

Stop derailing the thread with analactics..

Weve moved on (or at least I have) to taking boards out of the equation.. and opened up to society in general?

Op, what do you think about "shouting fire in a crowded theater"?

It's a well established argument that has long been part of free speech doctrine

I've been moderated multiple times for "islamaphobia" so I guess they're personal examples I don't speak for others.

Judging by your moderator sectors you're an ally. I've noticed activists in that area have been aligning themselves with Islamists and actively trying to protect it like it's some kind of display of diversity. It's pathetic especially when you see how many religions, but especially Islam treat people of that community. It's like turkeys voting for Christmas.

    Oh,

    So… no tangible examples?

    Well…

    That's a bit disappointing.

Oh well, maybe next time. Thanks anyway

In a communist utopia we would be the establishment but unfortunately humans have to many flaws to ever live in such a perfect world. Too much obsession with power, greed etc.

It's a thought experiment - should someone be allowed, under freedom of speech, to shout fire in a crowded theater? Knowing that such an action is likely to cause panic and/or harm.

You need to start by learning what freedom of expression is and what your rights are and the rights of everyone else. Nobody is preventing you from your right to freed of expression. But while you are free to express your opinions, we don't have to listen to them nor do private citizens or corporations have to facilitate you in expressing your options. So you are free to go set up your own site and spout all you want there within the law, but you have absolutely no right to compel others to facilitate you in doing it, which is what you are actually complaining about.

Well no, nor shouting bomb on a plane, but that is not expressing an opinion, that is a deliberate attempts to cause mayhem, their is a difference.

OP this section is for feedback on boards not on society in general so you will have to try again.

Weve moved on, were talking abt society now.

TBH I never expected more than the defensive answers I got about boards

Admin: As I've pointed out myriad times, this forum is not for collateral attacks on mod decisions. There are other channels if you are unhappy with a mod decision but Feedback isn't it.

Additionally, an observation that as a matter of fact and law freedom of speech is an American legal concept with zero application in Ireland. To the extent that there is a similar concept on this side of that ever-widening ocean, it is tempered by many balancing rights. Predominantly on this website, the obligation not to be a dick means you don't have absolute freedom.
