AP have called North Carolina for Trump.

It seems that Republican women voted for the Republican candidate. The Liz Cheney gimmick didn’t work.

    NYT called NC for DT

It's around the same odds as Conor Mcgregor being the next President of Ireland

    Translation: the race is over

Republican women are not going to vote to send their sons into pointless wars.

Looking like the Republicans will take the Senate but the house could flip to the Democrats.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,393 ✭✭✭RoyalCelt

It's politics and they played a blinder. The Dems created the mess the republicans were hardly going to let them fix it before the election. Dems are idiots.

If trump wins you can guarantee they'll sort that mess out.

Follow this guy if you are clinging to a Harris victory. Personally don't share his optimism.

John King wants to call PA after the next batch of votes. Doesn't look good for Harris.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 291 ✭✭advisemerite

I have a fair idea tbh but never bet on elections. I'm not saying Harris is going to win. I've said it's a chance bet. Her campaign and others think she has Pennsylvania and the election.

Ration yourselves while we wait for a nibble of definitive results, could be soon, could be… a while. Though there are significantly fewer mail in ballots than Covid, which take the longest to count and admit.

I'm glad I'm not a betting man, I would've been looking for a 'value' bet on Kamala

you don’t have a fair idea. You’re saying the bookies better pray she doesn’t get it. They have her at long odds because there’s no money going on her.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 150 ✭✭Novfith

The USD has strengthened v the Chinese Yuan by 0.8% in the last couple hours, clear sign the money men think Trump victory is going to happen.

They are also not a monolith, as your typical lib assumes that all Hispanics are, there are a lot of Mexicans in the US that think half of Venezuela arriving in their neighbourhood is a disaster.

There's a bit of a funerarial tone to the Sky News coverage. They all look depressed.

He is 4% up with 78% in (NYT). Can't be long now till they call PA

Looking at the vote numbers for Stein, I don't see how Harris is going to be trailing so significantly behind him. You currently have Democratic candidates with similar vote tallies for Trump, ~ 2.5 million. Even allowing for Robinson repulsing a large number of voters, I can't see Harris getting less votes than down ballot Dem candidates.

Crypto prices rocketing. That indicates they think Trump is winning to

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 431 ✭✭PixelCrafter

Yeah, I think we're going to be going into a sharp recession tbh. I'm seriously looking at moving to the continent. I'm not doing another economic crisis here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 291 ✭✭advisemerite

If Harris takes Pennsylvania can she do it and win the election? She's losing the popular vote as of now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,379 ✭✭✭rolling boh

Looks fairly ominous for Harris ,her numbers just don't seem good and her path to victory seems to be narrowing all the time .I

I might have picked you up wrong but i'm tired and drunk at this stage. My response to your post was in relation to the Trump orchestrating the border bill being defeated. The Dems are not responsible for this failing and again where does the 10m figure come from?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,209 ✭✭✭ebbsy

I think they have learned their lesson after 2016.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 931 ✭✭✭ledwithhedwith

I tell you one thing , this comment made me chuckle quite a lot, maybe it’s the beers haha

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 150 ✭✭Novfith

She's consistently down 2/3% from Biden.

Brown county, WI for example which is red, Trump is on 61% while he got 52% in 2020.

I don't know. I got a warning for posting 1 here, which I thought was very fair and relevant, and it wasn't offensive in any way. I was told to lay off the memes and that points can be made without them. I don't think I had even posted 1 prior.
