so your best contention is… his tariffs will cost Americans way, wayyyy more than Harris’ 7% corporate tax.

A 20% Tarriff is 285% more of a cost passed on to consumers than a 7% corpo tax. And that’s the lowest of the tariffs, ranging from 285% more expensive to 857%, allllll the way beyond 14,285% more expensive than a 7% tax

Keep it up this is brilliant stuff. Americans deserve a POTUS who doesn’t “bluster” about their economic security.

Elon Musk. His PAC has been doing it for weeks.

What makes you think that Trump will stop supplying weapons to Isreal?

And the war in Ukraine might have been over if they didn't have US support, but they would have been conquered by Putin who would destroy Ukraine and its people.

It's a weird thing to cheer for.

Eh…any of our dwindling but noisy Trumpsters want to justify this, after all thiir faux outrage over Bidens remarks

The war in Ukraine would be over, and Putin's troops would be on the border with Poland.

Actually, no. The war would not be over. Ukrainian resistance would continue the fight forever. No peace deal would be signed.

Before anyone scoffs at that assertion, lets not forget the insurgency and resistance of a small island on the western edge of Europe got independence from the largest global empire in the world and it's next door neighbour.

Big echo in that hall, almost as if it's empty.

Its not empty, there is a huge crowd there, some say, - very smart people, have said its the biggest crowd they ever saw..huge crowd… better than Hilary's, I mean Kamalala's AI generated crowds… big crowd. Can we get some YMCA playing please? I feel a dance coming on.

No fan of Trump, but saying Americans deserve X is nonsense at this stage. If they elect Trump they deserve everything that's coming to them. It's the rest of us eejits on the outside looking in that'll end up with the consequences of utterly idiotic decisions, which we had no hand, act or part in.

Those Ukrainian resistance fighters… always getting Ukrainians killed... Russia would stop bombing civilians if they just stopped resisting...

    Huh... weirdly familiar…

America is really split. It’s such a small margin. If Mr T loses is will it will be a fraudulent result.

Your colleague made this point pages back and it was explained very clearly to them.

    It's called targeted advertising.

It's based on what you want to hear.

    @engineerws

Trump emboldened and enabled Netanyahu with his insane gift of moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, thus putting US stamp of approval on Israels intentions to make it their capital. He gifted them the Golan heights, and so on…

    The zionists love Trump!

    https://blogs.timesofisrael.com/100-times-president-trump-supported-israel/

Biden has consistently been near raging against Netanyahu with some of the strongest criticisms of an Israeli leader I have ever seen.

As for your nonsense about Kamala being a monster by association, with your champion Trump not having any blood on his hands by comparison, you need to check your facts.

Harris can have Iowa, I'll throw in Kansas ,Wisconsin and Arizona, but I still can't get her over the line. MI, PA, NC, GA, all edging towards Trump in polls

Useful tweet of when we can expect results.

Michigan, along either Georgia and North Carolina coming in early could give us a good indication where the race is going. Though if Harris wins MI and Trump wins GA and NC, then its going to be a fierce close race that will drag on to Wednesday/Thursday for the PA result. Looks like Clark County, Nevada will be very slow again like 2020.

Maybe he’ll end the war, stop thousands of young Ukrainians being killed and on the other hand concede that NATO isn’t going to be acceptable as neighbours to Russia….the best of a bad bunch of outcomes

Russia has said Trump won’t stop them if he gets in.

Surprises CNN are giving trump fodder for the whole fraud / rig ballots….Lancaster, PA has a bundle of 2,500 ballots of which 17% are definitely fraudulent, another 30 odd percent are under review. This was reported just now on CNN so don’t take my word for it.

They certainly need a much more tidier and thorough voting system, all this talk of certain counties and states taking a week or more to count just adds unnecessary fuel. I think most people would prefer a “fair fight” and no drama

How on earth can trump win Georgia, I am not understanding that, if anything the demographics have only moved in Dems favour since 2020

You mean Trump will sell out a nation the US gave guarantees of safety to for disarming themselves of nuclear weapons, just as he sold out Afghan women who now have lives that rate below slavery. Even slaves used to be able to talk to one another.

    Trump is an evil POS.

Do the tv networks have near-immediate exit poll results the way the Brits do? That would give us a good inkling how the land lies as early as the small hours of Wednesday…

we’ll see, whatever your allegiance red or blue, Trump is the man to stop the killing in Ukraine compared to Harris who would do much the same she is now as VP, chuck money and solve very little.

I’m loathe to even comment here as from reading the thread it’s a left wing love in.

However, Trump will absolutely stroll to a win tomorrow night, he has gotten some very clever PR stunts over the last couple of months.

Harris isn’t likeable, hasn’t produced one memorable moment or well delivered line or paragraph. Get on board with the fact Trump is going to be the next president and find the positives, there must be some!

    Yes.

Rural counties, with very low populations and voters who generally turn out Republican are the more likely in general to report in early on election night.

It's expected, by many analysts, and by Trump's own habits, that he will declare victory super early, way too early for these states to be called, but when the majority of votes reported in are Republican because of this rural county behavior, and before the cities and major population centers have been able to report their counts. For instance, that's what The 5th Column is concluding at this point:

What seems incredibly likely happens: Trump seems to have given every indication that he plans on declaring victory before all the votes have been counted and during the period of the 'red mirage' or 'blue shift.' If this is the first time you're hearing these terms it refers to something that happens during elections because smaller rural areas often end up getting counted first. It makes it appear that Republicans are winning early on and then as the cities get counted it shifts.

If you do an internet search, you'll see this goes back years and years, it's not a new thing but it's something that Trump exploited before to to cast doubt on the election. Many of the people who believed him wound up in trouble.

Trump will not have access to information you don't. Trump will not get the results before they're public and he will not know the outcome before outlets call the states… news outlets have an economic interest in calling a state as soon as they can. I say again Trump will not know the results early if he claims victory ahead of time he's expecting you to be too ill informed to know better… he's insulting you. It seems like he'd only make this claim if he's hoping that you have more faith in his word then you do yourself. It's a well-documented occurrence that predates his campaigns and he's already seen it in action. It would seem that the only logical conclusion you can make if he tries to claim victory early is that he's hoping you can be tricked and played.

There's a high likelihood that we will not know the final results on election night if the polls are as close as they seem: it will take time. When people try to stoke outrage over something that is a documented occurrence, you have to question why they're doing it, either they honestly don't know that this is a common thing which means they probably don't know enough about us elections to be providing in-depth commentary or creating outrage, or, they do know about it. If they do know about it and they're trying to create outrage, well I guess it's up to you if you want to play their silly little game.

Given Trump's past actions and recent rhetoric, there's a chance he might try to challenge the results of the election if he loses. If that happens it'll be decided in court — don't get in trouble for this guy. The next day or two is going to to be tense for people from across the political spectrum, the situation will not be helped by sharing baseless claims or unverified rumors. Remember that the claims you might be wanting to share on social media, are designed to inflame people who think the way you do and most times they're not put out by people who have your best interest at heart. this is an incredibly important moment to get informed not inflamed.

Anyway, it's just a thought, y'all have a good day

I'd anticipate a lot of 'pigeon' posts playing into the nonsense when it occurs also.

The first polls close in just under 24 hours now. Hold onto your butts.

Watch it unfold, of course when he does achieve it, it’ll be “Putins bitch” or “he’s just a puppet”, which is the funniest one for me.

Of all the people of gods green earth to have as a puppet who in their right mind would choose the most uncontrollable person possible!
