I wouldn't be surprised if she's after the cabinet position Harris has promised a Republican.

You guys keep repeating this mantra of "The dems are panicking" about everything.

I don't think there's been a single event that you haven't claimed this about in the last few weeks.

Kinda makes it sound silly the more you repeat it.

I ain't panicking at all, if you follow the real reliable polling and the trends In early voting - Harris has a clear lead. Whether the EC messes that up is another matter, but she has leads in most of the swing states as well.

A hell of a lot of Republicans women are either not going to vote or swap sides over abortion and MAGA mysogene. This is not going to be visible till the count.

Trump is panicking badly and starting the launch baseless voter fraud cases in PA already - he knows he has lost PA.

Filter the noise and at this moment it looks grim for Trump.

Trumps handler have obviously upped his happy meds, but it's a risky business. He could just lose the plot and start giving Nazi salutes at one of his rallies.

    What is awful about Trump?

And how does that list compare to what makes Harris awful?

Seen on Twitter and just sums up the narcissism of Trumps garbage stunt for me:

If you were going to choose a metaphor for the 2024 Republican Party, a garbage truck chauffeuring around a billionaire traveling around in circles and going nowhere, all for a photo op, is pretty spot on.

Nah, only one awful candidate, the one who's name get plastered on expensive poor quality products.

The other candidate is a highly educated prosecutor, with a well proven track record, biggest issue she has I think is her voice sounds a bit like nails on a black board.

Even now the criticisms of her boil down to "weird laugh" and whinging about her attacking Trump too much.

Aye, I forgot that it is OK when Trump attacks, but how dare people do it to their 'Golden One'.

    Just thinking that myself.

Problem is at his age he could do easily overdose. They obviously pulled back on them for a few weeks when he was ducking out of everything from " low energy ", but his return to vigour shows they have upped his meds for the home stretch. Problem is if he kicks the bucket on or around election day - we could get JD Vance for 4 years.

Trump's garbage truck stunt just confirms that he still thinks that he's running against Biden,

It's been almost a decade now and all Trump supporters can do is trot out the same both sides trope again and again and again.

I took a break from US stuff. Now, for some reason there is footage of Trump struggling to open a lorry door. I see conservatives have taken one more step to showing their true selves:

Joe Biden is spot on IMO. It's about time Americans stopped pandering to MAGA and called it what it is. Harris might not be perfect but both she and Tim Walz are at least qualified and able to appear in public without humiliating themselves or pandering to Nazis. Every time I see the Trump supporters trot out "both sides" or "TDS", I just feel vindicated.

Famed Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin on Wednesday endorsed Donald Trump for president, citing Trump’s prioritization of space exploration while he was in office.

Doubtful it would move the needle for the election, but I've instantly lost all respect for him because of it.

We have Charlie Kirk and Jessie Watters from Fox telling women that a vote for the Dems is a betrayal to their husbands, with Jessie saying that it is worthy of a divorce!

There you go ladies, monitoring your period, telling you how to vote, withdrawal of abortion services, and the lead candidate is a thrice married, misogynist, adulterous, sexual assaulter.

Have you checked off all these excuses for Biden yet?

    • Biden clearly meant to say..
    • If Biden actually said that, we must’ve misinterpreted it.
    • Taken out of context, as usual.
    • He probably misspoke - he meant the opposite, obviously.
    • What he really intended to say was much more nuanced.
    • He’s not running again..
    • He has a stutter. You don't understand.

    #MEGA MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN

The prime time programme didn’t make for good viewing for the Democrats -

Erie Pennsylvania - whilst inflation might be down, the prices in the supermarkets aren’t - and that seems to be where the focus is on the “economy” - the person doing the weekly shop, whether it’s the mother or father, the male or female of the household, they’re still seeing very high prices compared to a few years ago.

Thats their “reality” - they don’t need an economist to tell them the finer points on how the economy works or the lag time between falling energy prices and a reduction in their weekly food bill - I can see how this is difficult for the Democrats to put a positive spin on things and it’s definitely hurting them.

Recent article or news feature over last few days (it might have been RTÉ primetime) comparing the 1980 election campaign and outcome of Reagan /Carter - neck and neck to the end then Reagan sweeps the boards.

    At the start of this election, many including myself speculated about “silent voters” - the Republicans who would vote Democrat because of the abortion issue; the republicans who hate Trump and don’t think he’s a fit person to be president, who will secretly vote Harris;

With all the focus now on certain swing states, and with far more accurate polling data than 1980, I’m not sure any of those “secret voters” will save the day here - “the economy stupid” may well be the central issue that wins it for the republicans

Why are these excuses not valid or something?

If not, there's a half ton of Trump quotes waiting for you.

Judging by the rising amount of MAGA fraud allegations especially in PA it looks like they know Trump will lose but go the courts or launch another Jan 6.

Have you checked off all the times Trump said far worse and you memory holed it?

    Human scum.

    Vermin.

Poisoning the blood of the nation.

Just some of the 'divisive' comments from Trump in this and previous campaigns.

That's who Biden was calling garbage, those words and those that produce it.
I'm not going to excuse the intent of Biden's comment, he was 100% correct in the intent of what be said, but in typical Joe fashion he tripped up over his words in getting there. The only excuses are for his delivery.

The racists whose feelings are hurt should take the advice of their amoral VP Vance and stop getting so offended over every little thing. Or take a look in the mirror and realise they are being called garbage cos they deserve it.

Hmm…this stunt seems so blockheaded, that I wonder if Donnie himself came up with it?

His campaign people are little better, and are equally capable of doing something this dumb…but this kind of smacks of something from Donnie’s own stupid head.

Very funny from Trump. You know honestly I think this is the kind of stuff that's makes all the difference and can get him over the line unfortunately. The democrats need to take back the iniative here somehow because it's all Trump over the news cycle and social media feeds.

It also looks like he is gaining energy as the election campaign comes to a close. How the heck does he do it for a man of his age??
