You notice the distinct lack of MAGA support of what was said on here?

Does that not make the penny drop?

Your position is completely untenable. Your arguments are ridiculous. Everyone saw what was on sale last night. Everyone.

You must find it funny that the same guy who sits down at Xmas and watches blazing saddles laughing his ass off with a bottle of pinot is the same guy objecting to a joke about Puerto Rico. As I said its a joke, get over it

No, it wont stop either billionaire. I reckon only the boards consisting of people funding those two egocentrics will stop them by forcing them out of their boardroom control seats. If Bezos and Musk don't get the message, cut off the funding by persuading the boards that the two people claiming ownership are wrecking the profits the enterprise is capable of earning and it's better for them that Musk and Bezos have to go. Hit them where it hurts and their hearts and minds will follow To sub-quote Carville: it's the profits, dummy.

If you cut Bezos and Musk from the funds which keep them in Trumps eyeline, the divorce from reality will destroy their marriage of convenience which is based solely on their mutual profit, and not on what it gives to the benefit of their funder and the voting public. Joan Rivers said it best: **** them over before they **** you over. Destroy Trump is the message which both political parties will accept without tears.

Latest episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored on the forthcoming election.

One hour of fast talking, yelling and Dave Smith being out of his depth for yere delectation.

And here we see hypocrisy unrivalled, a thrice married adulterer fraud, found liable in a court of law for sexual assault and upheld on appeal, who cannot cite any scripture, who doesn't go to mass, lauded as God's choice..

It is without any doubt a cult, and yet people here make mealy-mouthed excuses for him and what he stands for. Cults never end well.

Thank God Mehdi Hasan is on that Piers Morgan video, some semblance of someone who knows how to argue and communicate. The other 4 would give you a headache if you drove past them in the street.

They'll say something about God calling upon unlikely people to lead his flock and, if nothing else, we cannot say that Trump isn't an unlikely character…

No, but ya know, refusing to rent property to minorities, taking out full spread articles in papers to smear a group of black men accusing them of rape would certainly lead one to believe he may be racist.

Look at this way, he keeps talking about Harris' race and just being generally unsavoury about it. Does she mention race? No.

You might as well be talking to Donald Jr trying to talk sense there.

To quote a famous Conservative, 'the lady is not for turning'.

I think it does bother him though: he just wrote an op-ed trying to stop the bleeding

    https://www.mediaite.com/media/jeff-bezos-writes-rare-op-ed-defending-washington-post-non-endorsement-amid-subscriber-exodus/

TLDR, 'I want nothing, I want no quid pro quo, tell WaPo to do the right thing'

I would also like to be clear that no quid pro quo of any kind is at work here.

    image.png

etcetera. A more sophist version of Trump's infamous denial about his call with Zelensky. Even tries to bring up the fact that Blue Origin has met with Trump and how that is, 'sigh' not going to work in the favor of the narrative he is trying to plant here:

I would also like to be clear that no quid pro quo of any kind is at work here. Neither campaign nor candidate was consulted or informed at any level or in any way about this decision. It was made entirely internally. Dave Limp, the chief executive of one of my companies, Blue Origin, met with former president Donald Trump on the day of our announcement. I sighed when I found out, because I knew it would provide ammunition to those who would like to frame this as anything other than a principled decision. But the fact is, I didn’t know about the meeting beforehand. Even Limp didn’t know about it in advance; the meeting was scheduled quickly that morning. There is no connection between it and our decision on presidential endorsements, and any suggestion otherwise is false.

If the decision were as principled as he tries to go on to portray it as, he wouldn't have an exodus of veteran editors on his hands.

Maybe you could tell Rick Scott to use some of Bidens Infrastructure bill money to build that bridge, given he's one of the ones who is complaining.

Listening to CNN running the interview tonight with Keri lake I am left wondering whether she is living in 2020 or 2024, it seems she is intent on steering the questions put to her by the interviewer to the answers intended by her party leader to use. Woman to woman; as doubtless intended by both the GP and the network, both sides have clearly disagreed on their motivations, with Keri seemingly behaving solely like a puppet for the GOP instead of a female representative voted into office to represent females, amongst others, in her constituency.

It's left to the GP to point out that she is firstly a representative of the people who voted her into office to represent THEM, and thenTrump SECONDLY, though OBVIOULY Trump, since he arranged the appointment of his family to control the RNC. If the GOP does NOT point out that difference, it'll be there for all to see and understand.

Well played Paddy. Imagine what these people are like in real life? Tolerant intolerants or vice versa.

The same morons will call you weird and re-elect the same cretins that are destroying Ireland too. Horrible, horrible people who wallow in their boards.ie echo chamber.

Lol a group of college "activists" interrupting Harris to whine about Israel is just as hilarious as ever. I'd forgotten those eejits that think Trump will "save" Palestine unlike the "genocidal" democrats.

Trump actually winning and showing those dolts how he would "save" Palestine would be hilarious.

    No it doesn’t. You’re correct.

Looking at who was lined out and what was being said at MSG it's like Stephen King's The Stand starting to come about. Tucker Carlson looked demonic.

Bezos has form on this, he was forced off the board of Amazon because his borish behaviour was effecting the companies public profile and hence profitability. He's a disgrace of a human.

Trump said at a rally last night...

'I'm not a Nazi. I'm the opposite of a Nazi'

So, it turns out Jan 6 was ANTIFA all along!

The MSG event was supposed to be the big set piece to secure the final votes to win the election.

    National press, prime time.

And they completely screwed it. All the talk is about racism, misogyny etc. It is a PR disaster for Trump.

So bad is it that the Trump campaign has tried to distance itself from itself. Effectively issuing an apology for the comment. When has Trump ever apologised before?

Never, so you know this is bad. Of course they are not apologising for the joke really, they knew about it beforehand and knew what type of comedian he is, they are apologising because it generated such a backlash and is such a PR disaster.

It won't change one Trump supporter but in a race where the margins are wafer thin even a few hundred thousand votes could be the difference. And the Trump campaign decided that the best way to secure new voters was to insult many of them.

i think the MSG rally done exactly what MAGA wanted it to .

It will energise their base to get out and vote to “stop satan from taking over the USA” , and “prevent gods wrath from reigning down upon us “.

It was never about persuading undecided or dems voters to change their mind .

    Thats it , nothing more.

It drew more press and social media attention from the Harris messages over the weekend, a version of “ fill the space with Sh1t”.

    Job done for MAGA.

Anyone notice that the black and gold hat maga hat that trump's been wearing recently at his rally in michigan is the proud boys colours?

    Not a racist

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,565 ✭✭✭eightieschewbaccy

I'm not sure if it is, the campaign seems to be panicking cause Puerto Rican votes could swing the swing states. This could also hit things like congressional races too.

Its a losing strategy then. All the evidence shows that there is a firm 47% ceiling on MAGA vote share, which only works to win an election in a low turn out cycle. MAGA literally cannot win in a high turn out cycle because they represent less than half of the voting public.

They shot themselves in the head with this MSG stunt. Spectacular fail.

Putting an actual swastica on a campaign poster was surely a bigger give away.

The GOP is the natural home of wannabe Nazis. I suspect there is a burning of the Reichstag moment coming to kick off the great boogaloo.

I really hope you are correct because if Trump only gets the MAGA vote then they have absolutely shot themselves in the face.
