There are words of truth in his statement and they are between the words CEASE AND DESIST & TAKEN PLACE on line 4. I'd agree that lawyers are watching the election and that he knows better than most the rampant cheating and skullduggery that went on in the 2020 election. It's to his regret that they ain't all sitting at GOP tables.

Eminem has been against Trump for years, he released a track in 2017 I think specifically stating that. That's old news.

You've still time to edit your post if you don't want people on a discussion forum to nitpick as you yourself make statements expressly referencing what other people are supposedly saying.

Behind a paywall but excerpt below - definitely indications from Virginia and from other states that the “black” vote and “ethnic” votes are down for Harris compared to Biden - disappointing I have to say given her own ethnicity - I’m not saying people of colour should vote for her purely because of her ethnicity but given ethnic voters previously voted Biden in 2020, and now support from that community for Harris is down 20 points, it’s a hell of a hop skip and jump to head over to the Trump side of the house now 4 years later

“Vice President Kamala Harris holds a six-point edge over former president Donald Trump among likely voters in Virginia, according to a Washington Post-Schar School poll, similar to her eight-point lead in September. The poll also finds Trump voters are far less willing than Harris voters to accept the election results if their candidate loses.Harris leads Trump 49 percent to 43 percent in the presidential race, and with a 3.5-point margin of error their ranges of possible support overlap slightly. That is narrower than Harris’s 10-point advantage in a Washington Post average of recent high-quality polls.Trump, with the support of Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R), has continued to assert that the state is “in play” this year, and plans to lead a rally outside Roanoke on Nov. 2.Though Harris’s advantage would suggest that a Trump win in the state is unlikely, her numbers show some potential weak spots.Black voters in the state support Harris by a 59-point margin, smaller than Biden’s 79-point support in 2020, according to exit polls. And the candidates are evenly matched in the Northern Virginia exurbs, a shift from September when Harris held a double-digit lead. Part of the shift is due to a more conservative-leaning sample of respondents in the Northern Virginia exurbs this month than in September, suggesting it may be a statistical anomaly. Often a bellwether region, the Northern Virginia exurbs went for Biden by 10 points in 2020.

It's just bizarre how he would post something like that, himself, from his own account, on his own platform as his minions, fans, backers go around trying to claim that the Democrats have directly targeted him and that is a bad bad thing. The Democrats have done no such thing, Biden has gone out of his way to not even suggest that the justice dept or anywhere else should act on Trump.

But the same people who argue that that did happen, will pretend that Trump doesn't mean what he says here, while also telling us that they like him because he says what he means. It's batsh*t crazy territory and a sign of how much of a mess the system is in.

Do they? The GOP are the party that has actively made it more difficult to vote cause higher turnouts make them less likely to win.

Trump thinks the current president is Obama.

Senile old man shows who he is again on Fox. Sure it doesn't matter that the man seeking the highest office in the country is confused about current affairs.

Did you ever think that maybe half of the country is sick of the Democrats bullshit ?

Trump left his supporters in Michigan waiting 3 hours for his rally because he was chatting to Joe Rogan. Many left before he spoke.

He treats everyone with such contempt.

Hopefully it's putting enough of them off.

I have to wonder if Trump picked up on Rogan's bit about him [Rogan] treating Harris like a human and having a conversation with her.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,030 ✭✭✭✭Tell me how

What is that bullshit? Be specific. You spend long enough around these conversations that you should be able to offer examples, and a heads up, I will be judging what you say with consideration of similar Republican actions and positons.

It's this waffly type of BS that has been fed as fact and accepted as such by way too many people in various electorates. The same tactics of flooding the zone with sh*t (a Steve Bannon tactic), was used by Brexit advocates in the UK and that country is in its early days of suffering because of that.

To be fair, you could start providing evidence of your assertions rather than joining and immediately calling the thread biased.

We’re seen a reversal here in Europe on quite an established left wing political way of thinking that has dripped down to society and has come back as right wing vote in elections in recent times - Austria is one of the more recent examples but Germany has also had its far share of U turns from a previously established left leaning voter ship.
People may be scratching their heads if Trump wins, but I think you need to look what the wider world is doing to even try to start to understand it

He knows his own mind best and the fact it was on his own site was meant to prevent his legal people and advisers from being able to monitor and protect him from his own words. I just hope they are as counter-effective as they can be. Nose-spite-face.

Centerists and mental health experts are yet again quiet. Weird how their expertise on the faculties of the candidates immediately vanished when Biden dropped out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,844 ✭✭✭✭aloyisious

Does that mean you think it leaves at least 51% in the other camp?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,030 ✭✭✭✭Tell me how

Bear in mind, it was a talking point 4 years ago that Trump was asked to do a 5 word memory retention cognitive test. That in itself, wasn't necessarily a massive story, if someone had a fever, had banged their head etc, they could be asked to do this.

But he bragged about having done it and passed it, that was the most significant outcome of that whole episode.

Trump has repeatedly referenced beating Obama in the election. Now maybe he does have his faculties and maybe its a weird form a racism that means he cannot distinguish 2 african americans? (Despite one being a bloke and the other a woman).

But he has frequently not known what state he is in during his rallies and has been stuck in either repitition loops during some of his long meandering stories or just confused himself and completely changed topic mid-sentence.

He has about as much solidity as Biden when compared to Harris.

Very strange when you think about it, isn't it?

"I'm sick of these people's bullshtt, so gimme this guy's mountain of bullshtt."

Makes absolutely zero sense. If you're sick of nonsense, you would opt for someone straight talking, no?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,014 ✭✭✭✭pjohnson

If you read my post I didn't actually compare them, you tried to equate Trump and Harris as having equal faculties which is beyond parody. You're comparing a rusted golf cart with a BMW.

No hate just facts if you've actually been watching some of Trumps aimless spiels.

That's a bizarre take away from the raft of cognitive slips that Trump has displayed in the last two weeks - cumulating with the latest one of him thinking Obama is president.

Why would you even mention Harris and say she is equally cognitively impaired ?

    Bizarre.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,030 ✭✭✭✭Tell me how

You're right, it is a nonsense topic, and here you are ignoring the reality.

But hey, lets agree neither of them are likely to have the sufficient mental capability to take them through the next 4 years.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,014 ✭✭✭✭pjohnson

"You didn't compare Trump and Harris you stated both of them were nowhere near as bad as Harris."

I can see why you've no problem with Trumps name mangling. Explains a lot now.

Just making sure you don't miss this question directly referencing a statement you made.

Whenever you're ready please. In the interest of discussion.
