    Yes, the same message comes in at the same time every month since May

    "We had a little trouble processing your last payment for YouTube Premium etc"

    and then 10 minutes later the payment comes out.

    People say this a lot. "Hi mister streamer i luv u i support u on PayPal becuz yuck giving twitch/utub munny i hate them!" Good luck getting a stream from mister streamer or a video from them without the platform they use and usually tell people how to circumvent supporting.

    I think some people think they are "leet hackers" using super clever underground software that no one else is aware of, when they mention Vanced etc.

    It's not even the same comparison to YouTube premium.

    Side note, if you have a good VPN, setting it to Albania seems to remove all ads off YouTube due to some laws over there.

    UAE price to increase to under €13 next month. It's easy set up with a VPN anyway, no issues using an Irish card setting up. So I wouldn't worry about it until you get kicked out of Argentina.

    Just to add to this thread, I was in paying via Pakistan and got the email.

    Ended up vpn'ing to Poland and getting a family sub there. Came in at 47 Zloty which is about €11

    Could be worth trying other European countries that could be cheaper

    Quick summary for current cheapest YT premium family plans

    In no particular order

    India, Turkey, Ukraine

    Nigeria, Argentina
    , Philippines
    All for under $3/€3 per month

    Youtube does seem to be flagging more vpns now though.
    Every VPN I have tried thus far keeps giving me the cannot verify country error.

    Holier than thou comment here... Vanced has hit my requirements perfect except for the downloads for the plane. In fact it better cause it gets rid of the sponsor videos bits in the middle. So absolutely it's better than premium.

    Everyone should go vanced. Sick of the corporate greed.

    €3.27 taken from India. PITA though. Revolut changed from mastercard to visa, so I have to update all the payment options on my subscriptions. Youtube won't accept the new visa card without cancelling the membership, and go through the rigmarole of signing up again.

    Ended up getting Revolut to reactivate my Mastercard as it's still in date until Feb '26.

    If you need YT on multiple devices then its not practical.

    We have YT via a family sub watched on TVs, Fire TV Stick (for when I travel), Laptops, Android Phones, Apple iPads, Google Hub Max…..and both of our cars……

    Missed the email notification that was being cancelled but got deported from Ukraine yesterday. Tried renewing with Keepsolid VPN but not letting me. I'll try a few other countries but I've a feeling it's going to be difficult. Daughter watches a lot of Youtube and she has very little patience for sitting through adds!

    They use youtube music on Nest Speakers also as I took spotify of them as they were completely messing up my playlists and recommendations. I do pay for a family plan on spotify, I do feel it's worth it I use it a lot and two siblings also use it. Option maybe if I can't get VPN working is to pay for Youtube Family plan and switch to individual Spotify account for myself.

    I was able to set up a family account with Argentina but sadly can't add any family to the account, it's something that you have to do first, doh!

    Just an aside but it seems the proper YouTube app skips sponsors now too. It says in the button right "jump/skip ahead" during the video and it skips the sponsor then.

    It's not officially a sponsor skip, however YT is effectively reading SponsorBlock data since they can notice those playback skips. So it only works on videos that are popular and have had the segments in the SponsorBlock database for a while.

    I had been in Ukraine for about 6 months and missed the dreaded email, only noticed when Premium had gone. I moved to Poland yesterday and am back up and running on family. I used Urban VPN, Incognito mode and turned VPN off just before clicking pay.

    Seems like they are cracking down or maybe I'm just jinxed, lol.
    I keep getting the verify country thing when I reach the payment options.

    I can't create a new gmail account either as it asks me for SMS verification, regardless of what country I use, including Ireland. I've also tried it using my mobile broadband service, to no avail.
