US Social media is full of people wondering how much of a coincidence is it that Two hurricanes are hitting Southern red States in the last few weeks before the election.

There's Trump supporters who genuinely think that Democrats can control the weather.

How the fcuk are there so many people with this level of intellect in 2024?

Trump could be President in little over 3 months voted by a large number of people with this mental capacity. It's astonishing.

Or it's just to show how popular he is in a Blue State and it gives his media allies a good photo op, plus big venue = $$$ and lots of stalls to sell his tacky nonsense.

It would be funny if it wasn’t so scary considering the US is the single biggest threat to world peace and this is the citizenry which votes for its awful politicians. The weather thing is utterly bizarre and is not just related to the hurricane; we have those vapour streams in the sky from airplanes that are being blamed for rain, vibrations apparently making the sea do funny things and of course the COVID vaccine being a manufactured bioweapon.

What is most tragic is that so many people are so far down the conspiracy rabbit hole that reality is almost an illusion for them. Ironically they are more likely to be in a matrix simulation in their social media conspiracies holes than in the real world where they probably believe they are “in the matrix”. Being cooped up at home from 2020 and getting addicted to social media via powerful algorithms has accelerated the descent into an Idiocracy and the only way out is to somehow get the smart phones out of people’s lives.

Of course they will have to report it by the deadline, which is October 20th, but for now reporting suggests they’re hoping not to send out the mixed message that they “have enough” or anything to handedly win the race, concerned it could lead to depressed fundraising this month. Reports suggest her fundraising haul surpassed total 1 billion dollars, making it the fastest and largest political fundraising sprint in history.

Trump had reached 1 billion in July but he had already spent a huge portion of it by then and it took him nearly 2 years to raise. Kamala has reportedly raised over a billion dollars in less than 3 months, allowing her to outspend Trump in the most critical stage of the campaign. She’s even been able to divest funds to shore up some down ballot races - Trump hasn’t supported any other races and his daughter, co-chairing the RNC, has inversely pulled money toward his campaign instead of to other races.

The how to steal an election video was banned off the internet once covid became mainstream. A good bio weapon shouldn't kill your enemy, it should wound enough to slow down the platoon. The vaccine had nothing to do with stealing the election that was just an opportunity to make seasonal vaccines cheaper to manufacture. Operation warp speed was a super kind of stupid on Trump's part and he knows it.

Cloud seeding is big business and growing, tbh I don't think we should be screwing with the weather but at the same time I don't believe they'd manufacture a hurricane but I wouldn't rule it out completely either as the technology is there. (98% probability it's complete nonsense)

This is skimming the line of conspiracy nonsense. Cloud seeding does not cause powerful hurricanes like we are seeing in Florida.

If you want to see if there is any truth to it, investigate it. Don't go off silly rumours or Tucker Carlsons word, do you need to be reminded what he was partly fired for?

There’s been a spate of particularly damning news about Donnie and his campaign in general, so the MAGA tactic for the duration might be to fill any vacuum with as much noise as they can muster. This appears to include dragging up arguments on ancient nuggets like the «Good People on Both sides» thing or plastering the board with dubious data based on Betting sites.

Anything they can do to keep us from talking about how Trump’s too much of a spinless coward to sit with 60 Minutes, or that during a Covid test shortage he’d send some to his buddy Putin…who he’s been talking with since he left the White House.

It is indeed a cointoss, and even on a good Harris showing there’s potential for MAGA shenanigans and cheating…but I get the impression that there are so many people out there who beyond the pro-Dem folk or the pro-GOP folk are just tired of this stupidity.
