Stand charge on water meters (Irish water)

At least you can use the water, we have a metered connection & the pressure is so low that it won’t even fill a water tank we have to use the well all the time and still have to pay the standing charge bill.

That’s the charge per m3.

Is there a “free allowance” included? If there is it should be per meter installed if you are paying a standing charge per meter.

Ultimately you might feel it unfair but there are 7 meters that need maintenance and replacement in the future at some point vrs someone else that only has a single meter.

You only get a domestic allowance per holding even if you had a 100 meters installed on your holding…you pay rent per meter as well
