It bears repeating that in the two years they've had control of the House, they have not passed a single piece of real legislation.

    Not one.

A bunch of CR's to punt decisions but otherwise nothing of any value.

It had been the least productive Congress in History.

One thing that Trump said, and this cannot be disputed or said to be a wrongly heard or different word. He used the word bloodbath as part of his election campaign effort. I have no doubt whatsoever that some people will post here trying to put a different slant on his use of that word "oh he used it in an allegorical manner, or, he meant something different than there be a bloodbath if he lost this election". Everyone knows what the word bloodbath is a reference to and it ain't related to any industry.

When another politician [UK this time] used the word "blood" after the words "rivers of", everyone immediately made the connection and there was uproar.

Trumps use of the word bloodbath was intended, not a slip of the tongue or a mis-speak, same as he told his followers in Washington on 06th Jan 2020 that he'd go down with them to the Capitol building before he beat a retreat for himself alone to the White House away from the riotous mob his words aroused and inflamed leading to the deaths on the Capitol that day. He's a leader who prefers the rear lines, a REMF, not a front line banner waver.

One thing I reckon US citizens living abroad have is having the freedom [like us in a way - due to our debating him without having him nearby] not to have to suffer the actual presence of Trump rallies in their neighbourhoods abroad, bless their little souls.

You don t think that he was trying to put the **** up people there, like if the Dems get back, there'd be a industrial crash, the economy would go down the tubes and there'd be trouble on the streets as a result?

Where does Trump utter the words 'economic bloodbath' ? Well?

This is a man who incited a mob to storm the Capitol building.

Who has recently spewed racist lies about immigrants stealing and eating pets, inciting racial hatred and leading to security alerts.

And hysterical racist drivel about immigrants poisoning the blood of the nation.

Immigrants and his political opponents have been labelled as vermin.

If he is gonna use a phrase like bloodbath, he needs to actually say economic bloodbath. Because otherwise coming from Trump he doesnt get the benefit of the doubt.

The appalling Stephen Miller, who is involved in Project 25, and especially the bits concerned with immigration, has proposed "denaturalising" U.S citizens who have not committed any crimes. This puts not just legal immigrants (like the Springfield Haitians) in peril but Naturalised U.S citizens, who apparently are not "real " Americans.

I wonder could Mrs Trump and Mrs Vance be in peril? 😁

When he said "pollute the blood." He meant the economic blood. :p

Stephen Miller is not just some random talking head.

This is someone Trump appointed to his staff when in office... who helped write his inauguration speech and his January 6th speech inciting rioters.

More proof MAGA Republicanism = racist to the core.

Bit ironic given a lot of trump supporters believe people like him are out to replace them.

Might have something to do with almost 90% vaccination coverage! Just sayin.

But Trump said he won debate and that's why Harris was looking for another one. D o you not believe him?

Just saw a clip of Loomer saying that Harris, Letitia James and Fani Willis talk like a bunch of "DEI Shaniques".

The only slightly positive thing is the likes of Taylor Greene being blindsided by the type of language that MAGA will accept, if not celebrate. It is a movement that eats its own.

I think she knows full well the types of things here fellow Trumpers believe and say. I think it's more she was gambling on Loomer getting more push back for going completely mask off with these racist comments and was trying to get ahead of them.

Instead just looks like a lot of infighting and faux outrage. Hopefully it ends up with more muck slinging which will only expose more and more obvious racism.

Obvious racism isn't a bug. It's a feature. This is what MAGA has been doing, rhetorically speaking, the last eight years. Incrementalism in the language used. We've just arrived at the natural conclusion.

Trump will always be the leader of MAGA, but you have this cast of characters constantly jostling behind him for a seat at the table. The one-upmanship inherent in this has led to increasingly extreme people becoming prominent within it.

Hard to imagine what might come after someone like Loomer.

Well given how we've got folks defending Nazis and Republicans calling for mass deportations based on what is basically blood libel…

He is now imagining audiences. There was none at the debate!?

I just read that too. He’s losing it, and I don’t just mean the way he handed over the deed to his head rent free to its new landlord Kamala Harris, I mean he is losing his good plated marbles. Age is catching up to him fast and it’s not something he can delay with a captured judge or vexatious litigation.

I think it's inbuilt at this stage. I've seen footage of him waving at people who aren't there.

There seems to be a fundamental link in his mind between the amount of people who want to see him (be it ratings on TV or crowd size) and his value of his own self.

So either he's lying to protect himself from the truth, or he truly is hallucinating.

If they can deport millions of ethnic minority citizens then they lock in MAGA for the future. That ceiling of 46% of voter share grows proportionally the more blacks Hispanics and Asians they can eliminate.

They fully understand the existential crisis the republican party are in and this is the solution they have devised. No consideraton of shifting their policy platform to make them more electable. MAGA is the natural home of Nazi minded Americans.

    He is a feckin nutjob.

If he was running for president in ireland he'd have been sent to mount joy before now.

He's a compulsive liar. The truth is utterly alien to him. He literally lies about whether it's raining or not.

He's also utterly self absorbed and genuinely does think he's a genius

Fúcking Hell, they haven't rolled out Rudy again, have they? Desperation.

He will be ranting and raving outside a dildo shop by the end of the week.

I kind of wish Trump orbiters would take a long hard look at the various Rudys and Mike Lindells of the world and consider how wise it is to throw their lot in with him.

If you’re living in hope of finding yourself in the inner circle of a totalitarian dictatorship that will cancel your debts and squash your critics, then sure I would understand the motivation. But a student of history will tell you; the inner circle of such of thing is no place of safety, if anything you’re closer to potential danger.

But as we’ve seen, these are not usually very intelligent or well grounded people. Rudy & Lindell may feel like they have no other choice than to ride the Trump train no matter what. I’d almost feel sorry for them if Trump loses… *almost feel sorry*

But as these people are now, they should hopefully serve as a warning for those who think that being a Trump ally will be in any way gainful for them. One legacy of the Trump years that we might end up seeing following a hopeful loss for him, could be the train-crashes of the various livelihoods of the people who gambled on Trump….and lost.

that will cancel your debts and squash your critics

Trump still hasn't paid Rudy his 2 million.

Going from Americas Mayor to Trumps abused slave is some fall from grace.

Even for that weird orbit. Creeps are attracted to other creeps I suppose.
