By the standard they now declare, was that them implying the poster has "anger issues"?

Apparently though it is ok for them to make such pronouncements, but when someone starts making similar about the motivations behind their posts and conduct on boards… it's WW3.

It is an entirely self serving argument.

It is a pattern we see repeated all over current affairs, posters trying to claim victimhood when their dodgy claims are challenged, one standard for them one standard for others, claiming biased moderation. Never examining their own posts to the standard they set others.

That poster along with a raft of other people here got extremely agitated by my use of the ignore function posting angrily making a heap of accusations etc.

According to your logic I should just accept it and not comment.

The thing is, outside this thread I for the most part won't be replying to that type of nonsense anymore, so go nuts and enjoy yourselves, I'm doing the unthinkable and just not getting into the arguments anymore, this thread illustrates precisely why that's a wise decision.

In light of the recent mod post, I will now simply link your post and readers of the thread can make up their own mind as to whether claims are being made up out of thin air.

I'm responding because you have accused me of lying, a serious accusation and it speaks to the credibility of the claims you have made on this thread about the conduct of posters and moderation in the wider forums.

And without that post, readers can draw their own conclusions about the credibility of the claims you are making.

When you have feedback asking why deliberately misgendering people is not allowed, then you see what type of stuff the Mods have to deal with and that people clearly believe their right to say what they like is more valid than basic respect for others.

Is that not part of the problem why the site is a Graveyard - too many people won't go into areas of the site such as Current Affairs because of the right wing Agenda in there? A right wing Mod would make it surely worse?

The thing I don't get is why do they even bother staying here? The web is a big place and there's plenty of forums to go to. Staying on here, engaging in victimisation olympics and constantly whinging makes no sense to me.

It must be absolutely exhausting.

Do you really believe the current mods are left wing? And do we really need someone actively protecting those who spread fear, hatred and division?

Right now, the Gardaí are having to issue a statement regarding misinformation about immigrants attacking children on social media. Would having someone promoting that sort of thing help the site, in any way?
