Are we really to believe a man that looks like this, is the peak of manliness?

Watched the C4 documentary about him the other night.

That blonde one who is with him from the beginning is very loyal despite the fact he is seen on video slapping her about the place.

Ah, you’re not a pussy. Did you watch loads of Andrew’s videos and become alpha?

    Wow. That's rough.

I'm a bit taken aback by that tbh.

    The man's son ffs.

I haven’t looked in to Tate in detail - I have better things to do - but so far I think Jimmy Carr’s assessment is accurate: Tate is a 14-year-old boy’s version of what a successful man looks like. At that age, we men are walking hormonal disaster zones, obsessed with “getting the girl”. We’re like dogs chasing cars: if we catch one, we don’t know what to do with it.

Well, Tate “got” the girls … yeah. Um.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Because his behaviour and influence has an impact on peoples lives, regardless if they have ever met him or not.

Trying to raise children, boys in particular, is becoming increasingly difficult as parents spend more time trying to make ends meet that boys and young men spend more time online. That time online leads to exposure from toxic personalities like Tate, Peterson, Musk or even Ben **** Shapiro. Single mothers have it worse because most of the time child does not have a male role model, this position is replaced by some grifting asshole online.

It says everything about someones life because they actually give a **** about their children or younger people in general and how they are misguided by a bunch of pyramid scheme, rage baiting cryptobros.

Why would Peterson, Musk and Shapiro be considered toxic?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,867 ✭✭✭circadian

Peterson - no doubt an accomplished academic in his time he has over time drifted further into mysoginy, conspiracy theories and other toxic positions, especially attempting to somehow paint a picture of the womans place in the world where men are clearly better in every way. He clearly finds greater financial benefit in the grift and becoming a charlatan than producing factual peer reviewed papers.

Musk - Where to start? The man lacks all morals yet has some sort of saviour complex. One example stands out to me is the time where he has Tesla buy a load of Bitcoin then announces they'll accept it as payment, dumping their bags on his OWN SUPPORTERS just to make sure their quarterly earnings look good from sales of "digital assets". The man is little more than a self centred, attention seeking child. He is not a genius and is in his position almost entirely due to good fortune. He is not the source of ideas in SpaceX, nor Tesla. He is a liability for those companies. He is toxic because he promotes nothing but selfishness, petulance and is just an all round toxic wanker.

Shapiro - Another charlatan who creates outrage material purely for the clicks and money. I doubt he holds any of his beliefs with any real regard, his arguements are often half thought out with misrerpresented data points to push an agenda. Sure, a master of the gish gallop but never engages in a properly moderated debate because he would get torn to pieces. See his interview with Andrew Neil where he hilariously throws his toys out of the pram and calls him a liberal once he faces an ounce of robust challenge. Shapiro only seeks to reinforce the prejudices that many in his audience hold.

I would agree with a lot of that but I still wouldn't consider them toxic, at least nowhere near to the same extent as the Tate brothers. They're on a completely different level. I think most parents would prefer their sons listening to Jordon Peterson than Andrew Tate.

I give to you a proposed vision of the world if we could load Andrew Tate, Jordan Peterson, Joe Rogan, Pewdiepie, Elon Musk and Donald Trump into a rocket and fire it into the sun:

Musk gets attacked because of his grievance with his trans kid, and the mothers influence over the transformation of the kid.

Peterson because he was one of the first to question the attempted law enforcement of pronoun usage, imagine that, they wanted to try lock people up if they didn’t comply to pronoun usage and Peterson said hold on a second there. So he has since found himself a figurehead target.

Shapiro because he basically calls bullshit on the nonsense that he sees.

Add Enoch Burke to that list for taking a stand on refusing to use pronouns.

Nowadays it seems to be all smoke and mirrors, people find themselves on the bandwagon of hatred without even knowing why they jumped on in the first place.

Musk showed his true colours a long time before that back in 2018 when he referred to one of the people trying to rescue the kids stuck in the cave in Thailand as a Pedo:

    musk.JPG

Just stop and think about that for a moment.

Someone trying to rescue children from a cave, putting their own life on the line.

Musk wants the glory and to have one of his subs to come in and rescue the kids.

He doesn't get his way, so refers to one of the rescuers as a pedo.

    He's an absolute gobshite.

This is nothing more than dumbing down genuine grievances against these people and their positions. Not to mention falsehoods and half truths in this post alone.

Pitting people against minorities and the marginalised benefits only the wealthy. Grifters like these people benefit financially by consistently confirming biases and reinforcing prejudices.

So what if someone is trans? So what if someone has different pronouns? Why are people concerned with life decisions that someone they don't know makes?

Crypto is exactly the same type of bullshit. Sell dreams of financial independence while never delivering it. It is little more than gambling.

You may call it dumbing down but I call it getting to the point, I find it tedious to dance around topics.

Nobody has anything against trans people, it’s all imaginary. In musks case he believes the mother had an impact raising the child which made them confused of their gender, for me as an outsider it seems he has a point. Anyways it’s none of my business as it’s his family, and therefore personal to him. Nothing to do with the actual gender of the kid, more to do with the impact of a parent on the gender of a child.

The common ground for all of the above mentioned, with exception of Shapiro as far as I am aware, it seems that they have no issue with genderism until it became personal to them, until it impacted their lives in a meaningful way. So you see this isnt about people caring whether someone is trans or not, or what pronouns they want to use, it’s about when that comes knocking on your door and impacts your life and personal beliefs.

Therefore I’m sitting here with nothing but compassion for those trans people who have had to go through stuff that I’ve never even had to consider, but I have to ask myself, what if it came knocking on my door, in my family, would I do the same as musk and Burke, and without knowing for certain I can’t actually say I’d feel any different than them in their given situations.

Crypto has nothing to do with this, I’m aware this was a legal, non infractable attempt to have a personal dig at me but I will bite because I’m a dog, the dream is not financial independence in terms of having more than enough money, it is financial independence from traditional banks and the traditional finance system, so that we can all benefit instead of just bankers.

And yes, I have just made up a new word, infractable.

It is possible to have grievances with all of the above mentioned people without bringing genderism into it. You're the one joining dots there that aren't necessarily the reason people don't like them.

One of the main reasons I don't enjoy Jordan Peterson for example is his inability to apply the 'cold, calculated logic' he is known for towards his own religious beliefs. They just get a free pass from logic and scrutiny, 'just 'cos'.

It's nothing to do with his opinions on gender.

The "common ground" is that they all realised that there was money to be made being a contrarian on the internet*. It just happens that gender ID is the topic du jour. Not one of them ever, ever argues in good faith; they just keep stoking the fires.

*With the possible exception of Musk, who is just a sad, lonely man who thinks everyone should love him because he's rich.

How anyone can claim with a straight face, in this year of our lord 2024, that nobody has anything against trans people, is so utterly beyond me that I think my brain actually just broke free of its stem and floated off into the ether.
