Sure I've no issues with him taking the biggest money fight out there at all. Just isn't a fight that'll get me excited personally. I'd much rather see him in with Boots Ennis.

Canelo stops Crawford. 154 is his max. I thought he deserved to win last night but he clearly had real problems with the size.

He just had a money fight, rumoured to be around $20 million. The Saudis now have an international version of the Riyadh season, Wembley is next.

Ignoring all the political stuff with the Saudi shows then yeah its cool we actually get somewhat stacked cards, but the pacing is abysmal.

Anderson starting at 1.30 and ending quickly and then a quick turnaround to Ruiz got me excited but somehow Crawford was not until near 6am. I think their was a 1 hour break between the co main event and Crawford which was dire.

According to the bloke in Saudi writing tbe cheques Canelo has priced himself out of the Crawford fight

How can he price himself out when the bloke is paying massive money to everyone

I really don't understand why these fights are so late. It was 1am on.the east coast of the US for the Crawford fight. They have to be losing millions by having it so late.

Interesting face off between Berlanga and Canelo in LA

    premierboxing on Instagram

Berlanga a big dude compared to Canelo

Crawford said Canelo was looking for 150m usd to fight him

Bohachuk beat Ortiz but didn't get the decision.

Really good fight. Non-stop action, but Ortiz just got outworked in a lot of rounds.

Infuriating American commentator on DAZN who believed that Bohachuk was 'on wobbly legs' any time Ortiz landed a hard punch. He wasn't. He wasn't hurt even once in the entire fight. Just because a hard punch lands, doesn't mean the recipient was hurt!

Ortiz put down twice, but wasn't hurt either time. However, they counted.

I had Bohachuk up by 5 points going into round 10. Even giving Ortiz the last three, which were very hard-fought rounds, Bohachuk won.

Benn without the eggs is nothing to fear either tbf.

yes, that fertility medicine made him like Mike Tyson..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,241 ✭✭✭✭OmegaGene

the fertility drug for women did nothing for him but can be used as a masking agent but it didn’t clear his system quick enough it seems.

Connor benn had a good stock value at one point considering he’s fought nobody of note, Eddie Hearn did a great job marketing him.

Shakur still to fight someone really good, although wouldn’t at all be surprised to see Cordina do really well here. 135 lbs suiting his frame better. Shakur is feather-fisted, not particularly strong, or busy, and is too preoccupied with trying not to get hit.

It wasn't hard to promote him with who his dad is.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,241 ✭✭✭✭OmegaGene

his family name was the only thing that kept eddie investing in him, i saw him at york hall on his arse early on in his career and he looked bang average

A bit underwhelming that undercard. Happy with the Wardley Clarke rematch and Stevenson vs Cordina but, Opetia in another tick over fight, Eubank Jr continuing his irrelevant career against a nobody and ye maybe Whitaker and Cameron will be ok. Really would like to see Opetia at least unify some belts.

Eubank jnr priced himself out of a fight with hamza sheeraz according to Frank Warren which is no surprise

Really think Opetai will be avoided by the other champs. He's in the big risk / low reward category.

I'd strongly fancy him against any cruiser, anywhere.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 423 ✭✭Robert Nairac

Opetaia making his way through the entire UK domestic cruiserweight scene. Just jump to heavy and get in the mix instead.

Conor benn must need to stock up on eggs, I saw him on a video at a London jewellers flogging his Rolex

Any promotion at all of TJ Doheny's fight vs Inoue tomorrow in Ireland?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59,686 ✭✭✭✭walshb

just on Irish sites is all. I can’t see who’s even showing it for Ireland. Biggest mismatch ever. Doheny be doing well to get out of rd 1

Inoue beat an injury into TJ

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,275 ✭✭✭✭normanoffside

It definitely looked that way. TJ was doing very well for a few rounds. Hard to believe Conlan beat him handy and hurt him a few years back.
