Of course you can post here. The drivers often work till they have finished (latest here after 6pm) but if you are out in the country then they could ignore you and do your delivery next time they are out your way.

I pay for Amazon Prime because Prime deliveries don't use Fastway.

Wake me up when it's all over.

    Hi,

I'm waiting on a package and the tracking information states it has been loaded to a container, so would it be early next week when I recieve the parcel?

Anyone have experience of Fastway delivering to an OOHPod?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,378 ✭✭✭Nodferatu

Fastway, they lost a €200 package on me at Christmas and refused to take responsibility. Claimed it was 'signed for' and delivered, which it wasn't. Then refused to do anything about it or help me find it. No manager was around to speak with that day. Nearest depot is 30 minute drive away.

They lost another package on me about 3 weeks ago said it was delivered and signed for. Which it wasn't and again wouldn't help and just shrugged it off. Again, had to drive to nearest depot to speak to someone as they conveniently don't have a phone in Portarlington depot. Best they could do was to get the driver that day (whom was out sick..) to contact me, which... surprise surprise.. he never did. Of course they wouldn't give me his number because GDPR or whatever.

Now I'm onto my 3rd package that's missing they recieved it 2 weeks ago on 30th July and nothing since. This is F**KING ridiculous and I now have to hop into the car yet again today and drive to Portarlington, yet again because thry dont have a contact number or email I can get any responses from. Convenient for them. I'll end up speaking to someone whom, no doubt as always will play stupid and thick and won't help me in any way. I'll get a run around and told to speak with manager or come back when the managers around and I'm out more cash again unless I argue with company I bought off for a refund!! Why are companies like this allowed get away with this sh*t.

If I could chose any couriers in Ireland Fastway would be at the very bottom of the list everything. I absolutely despise them.

Three items I'd report that as theft. See what happens if you report it online.

Are you dealing with the suppliers? Contract is between them and whoever ships for them. Also go on to Trustpilot and put up your views.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,378 ✭✭✭Nodferatu

Yeah have left a review for them on Trustpilot. I'm not wholesale just buy stuff online. But have bought numerous stuff from a particular store in China and they told me they don't pick the courier its assigned when arrives in Ireland.

Fastway have a phone number indeed, but it goes to a message saying " ALL OUR CUSTOMERS COMMUNICATE WITH OUR DRIVERS" or something along the lines of it.

It's up to the seller to ensure the goods reach you, either ask for a refund or do a chargeback.

Had a package to be delivered to the Cornmarket Street OOHPOD in Cork today. When I reliased it was Fastway delivering, I felt it in my bones that they would screw it up. Sure enough email received saying parcel delivered, I got no notification from OHHPOD locker. I contacted OHHPOD and they said nothing was put it there for me. I went in physically to the centre and asked at every store if they had the parcel and no one had it. Expensive parcel just gone, no way to contact fastway by phone and no response to my email. Everytime with this company, everytime.

Fastway is the Irish Courier for TEMU.

In the Special Instructions in while buying your TEMU stuff, maybe enter something like " For Courier : Handle my package like a millionaire , Thank You "

Hi guys! I have bad news about fastway too…

Waiting for the parcel from AliExpress… the tracking number is from PostNL. Like LS974XXXXXXNL. Tracking info updated 3 days in a row with "addressee is unreachable" and "recipient uncontactable by phone". Buy nobody even called me, and I was at home and wait for delivery.

After a while the tracking info updated with "parcel at the local delivery office". But I don't even know where this "delivery office" is.

The parcel became "successfully delivered", but we understand that nothing was delivered, especially "successfully".

After a time (maybe 2 or 3 days) I found my parcel in the grass near trash cans. Of course, it was all wet outside and inside. And regarding the sticker - it was Fastway…

Earlier I tried to find my parcel in every delivery services in Ireland I even found. But when I tried to contact Fastway for this question - Fastway told that they had no idea where my parcel is and there is no parcel with this tracking number arrived to Fastway. It turned out to be a lie…

And you know, the original sticker with tracking number, address, phone number was fully covered by Fastway sticker with their internal tracking number and only address. So courier had no ability to contact me. (Except he has X-ray vision to see under the fastway sticker)

I opened a issue-ticket in Fastway and received an answers like: "driver told that all was ok"

    2024-10-23_195120728.png

One of my further parcels now received the same fake status "Unsuccessful delivery, addressee could not be reached" and it means that this is kind of a rule in Fastway - fake statuses, throwing away the parcels…

    Poor my parcels…

I've ordered online from abroad, and received word that the parcel will be couriered via Fastway. I put my work address down as delivery address but it's quite far away from my home so I've been dreading that trek on the bus as it's a large and bulky purchase.

I understand this thread is a decade old so I'm curious if Fastway still offer the option to reroute the package to my nearest Parcel Connect pickup location instead.

I haven't directly asked Fastway yet as the item isn't yet on Fastway's tracking system. But would be handy to know in advance. Thanks.

Trying to send a package via Fastway - their site says Parcel Connect places will take it but none that I have tried so far in Dublin City Centre do. Anyone know of a Fastway drop off in Dublin City centre, or alternatively a parcel connect that does actually accept Fastway labelled packages?

update. Finally found one in Dorset St.

Noticed in February 2025 the First Names of delivery drivers plastered on Fastway Vans.

So I recommend adding the following statement in Special Instructions: This applies for you Fastway drivers in cars as well:

" Delivery Drivers first name required as identity when accepting parcel "

And if they refuse, the customer can refuse delivery.

Received message from fastway today my parcel was delivered with signature.

As expected with fastway no parcel arrived and noone passed security camera on front of house.

Have tried contacting fastway and only getting bot have tried contacting seller and they telling they can see on the system that package was delivered so transaction completed.

Any advice on where to go?

I normally ask who is courier and don't purchase if fastway but forgot to ask this time.

Google the nearest fastway depot to you.

You won't be able to get through to a human agent by phone.fastway and must email them.

Maybe offering you just another rabbit hole but that's all I can do

Ask seller who the signatory is. It's obviously not you, and that should prove it.

Is the seller a shop? They shouldn't be so quick to believe Fastway.

I'm the same, I usually check who the courier is before purchasing, and avoid if it's Fastway. Got caught out about 2 weeks ago with a seller unexpectedly using Fastway. Same as you - parcel 'delivered' with signature. Nothing on the cameras, parcel nowhere to be found. Luckily a neighbour brought it round later in the evening - he said that they had just left the parcel at his door. God knows what the signature was.

It's shocking that Fastway can continue operating despite being almost universally bad.

    Seller is sports direct

They told me they had signature and gps but couldn't share due to gdpr.

How they knew my signature I'm stunned and how they got gps without being picked up on security cameras I'm bamboozled.

I'm ok I can afford another pair of runners for the kid but I feel for others that may not have the money to purchase again.

Avoid fastway at all costs is the only advice I can give anyone.

Online shopping from hell…..one waste of space "delivering" for another waste of space. Both are cheap for a reason.

Feck that, chargeback. Seller has not fulfilled the contract.

Almost at my wit's end with Fastway.

A few weeks ago, they delivered a parcel to my neighbours house. There was somebody at the (correct) delivery address at the time, they didn't even bother going near the (correct) front door. i know because there's a camera on it, and it's recording 24/7

Today, marked "left in a safe" place. it's not anywere on the delivery property. Again, there was somebody at the correct address at the time it's marked delivered. This time neighour does not have it,.

Part of the issue is that they're the designated delivey agent for Yanwen, and one of my hobbies is essentially impossible unless i order from China which means… Yanwen.

    Exasperated.

Anyone have any suggestions / ideas?

    i mean other than "You're SOL" . :-)

^^^^ Going forward, ordering your stuff from "Yanwen" I SUGGEST

For your address, specify the Fastway Depot nearest to you. So, it could be in a place like Ballyhaunis in County Mayo or, for me, Ballymount near Tymon Park

in the delivery instructions, specify you will collect your stuff from the depot in person, and show your driving licence to them to prove it's you.

not really a solution i know

As above, Fastway have gone into receivership.

There will be disruption to deliveries as drivers and depot staff will not work unless they know they will be paid.

Not a nice time for their 1,000+ staff and contractors, but you might see Evri take the opportunity to expand in conjunction with DHL as they have done in northern Ireland.

Hopefully not as DHL provide a high quality service, and Evri's reputation online is as bad as Fastway's.

Curious that they went bang right before their busiest time of year.

But a company that is that badly run simply does not deserve to survive
