I'm still not seeing a link between influencers and the large number of people trying to flog their tents this year?

Haven't been to this since (I thought 2013 but actually-) 2012, looking forward to it but apprehensively so on the lack of freeflow coming from a string of ATNs…

What booze is on offer in the arena, am I going to be stuck drinking pints of heinopiss or what else will they be slinging?

I don't drink vodka so thats smirnoff and whiteclaw off the table, can just about abide moretti but would be a lot more at home with some sort of ale or guinness. I'm sure there's only so many arsecans of smithwicks I can hide on the way in…

Yeah youre onto something here. Pattern is unavoidable with these male singers. Are any of them any use? I know Kahan's sticks song. Thats it.

No none really, I seen Dylan Flynn in a previous band in Dolan's Limerick years ago who were decent but the limited newer music I heard wasn't really for me. You could add at least another 5 or 6 to the list in that category across the festival. Add that to the lazy repeat bookings and it looks grim. There are loads of positives to take still across the festival we still have some fantastically curated stages, I might be in the minority but think Smirnoff is a huge upgrade from Casa Bacardi and some great bookings on their, just hope this year doesn't set precedent for future main arena bookings as across the board for the most part it's fairly dreadful. But like mentioned, Nas is a top top tier booking for me and Faithless + Kasabian not far behind also top tier bookings, if we lose bookings like that I definitely couldn't justify future editions. Anyway I'm actually super positive overall about this years festival, can't wait.

Also schedule/stage times on the app now for all stages.

I'm in shock. Have seen Talos so many times over the years; from music festivals, to churches and connollys of Leap. May he rest in peace.

not a scam just a different experience for people. Same as hospitality tickets for a premier league etc. up to each and their own to determine whether extra cost worth it.

the second hand demand at EP for such posh experience seems to have a been nasty shock. Deffo appears to be oversaturation of these packages this year.

The reason I have a caravan is because I compared the prices of glamping and renting a campervan for EP to the actual cost of buying a small caravan. Bought the caravan for less, upgraded a few times and wouldn't be without it now.

Mental money to still sleep in a tent!

Is there an overall timetable function I can't see in the app or is it just the individual stage schedules for the moment?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,985 ✭✭✭rubick

That would be too much user-friendly functionality, come on now!

I got a 1 to 2 year loyalty email, I've been 6 times! All bought through my ticketmaster account, but how do you get them to change it?

seems it’s common problem this year.
short answer is they won’t change it. Raising ticket wouldn’t help I’d say

After a cursory and retina-burning pass through the app I now have 35 acts across the weekend.

Jet-Li at 2am Saturday/Sunday on Croi Crecsent Earth stage for any DnB heads reading.

I've received the wrong loyalty code in previous years so just dropped them an email, and in fairness they sorted it out for me.

Has Eyedress pulled out? Not on any of the main arena stage times.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 428 ✭✭CoffeeImpala

Seem to be. They dropped off the poster when it was updated.

I haven't been since 2019. Heading form Friday morn. Presuming everyone is in red car park this year seeing as green is campers only now. Am I imagining it or is the red a very decent walk to pink moon / whatever its called now. I'm sure it was like an hour last time but I'm probably over exaggerating. I remember being in absolute bits when my trolley wheel broke with the sweat pouring off me after the hike in. Is there any point dropping a mate off at the drop off point with all the gear, parking and walking back to them there.

This! Last time I was there salty and trench town was outside the poxy heino beer police. So do people bring less than the 48 cans because you can't bring it into those smaller areas like you used to ? ...and just succumb to the cocktails that cost an arm and a leg. I know there are other areas in the woods that you could bring your tins, such as transmission. What's the culture on it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 378 ✭✭505_

Same here! I have sent them an email but amnt holding out much hope they’ll sort this out in time.

Yeah, me too. However, having applied for the loyalty this year in case my son fancied next year and AGAIN being given the 1-2 code despite having 9 EPs clearly visible on my account, I got on to Ticketmaster who said they could do nothing for me and referred me to the Latitude site. I'm out. Again. Double out.

It's available now but someone must have gotten bored waiting for the marketing team to add the branding/colours.

Was going to post this. Has anyone seen Mik Pyro live recently? I haven't listened much to it but his recent solo album Exit Pyro seemed pretty well received. Wondering does he play any Republic of Loose anymore?

One of my fave gigs ever at EP was a pop up one he did with Pete Pamf. I see the two are back together on the survivor stage this year which could be great.

@Mucker46 has been ploughing through the updates manfully. Gonna be a long old evening for him. By rights, the boy shouldn’t have to buy a drink for himself all weekend!!
