    to be honest I'm not a fan of the current system of lumping all your valuables into a box, putting it on a conveyor, then leaving it and going through a scanner, get stopped at the scanner for usually nothing or a watch or something and eventually get out the other side to hopefully your valuables

    Did Joe just say that the DAA statement said that all lost items in Dublin Airport are on their website??? So if I want a new iPad, I can browse the DAA website select the one I want and go and collect my "lost" iPad.

    Caller: I even rang the Police in Berlin but of course they don't speak English.

    Well thats bollox right there. German police speak better english than Joe(not that that would be difficult).

    Been like that for years.

    First time through Doobalin I wanted my camera and film (that dates it) to be hand-inspected. The Security Arsehole fecked it into the tray and put it through the machine, like a fecking moron.
