An extremely odd opening ceremony, an event that is supposed to showcase sporting achievements has been taken over by people pushing ideological agendas.

It absolutely isn't right that one religion is fair game but others are out of bounds.

Erm, pantomimes were and still are a thing. So children for generations are pretty familiar with the concept of drag. The likes of Dame Edna has been around for decades.

The French response to the event has been resoundingly positive so I think they're pretty happy with what was delivered. Outrage junkies are annoyed but they're getting their high at least.
