There was a lad called Trevor Richardson who was in the first ever Connacht academy and might have played a couple of games around that time. Don't remember anyone else.

Great to see more and more home grown lads making their way through the system. Obviously there's a lot of great work being done to bring so many players to this stage.

The next step for these lads is the toughest. With a lack of A games and our teams low down the ranks in AIL its a huge leap for these lads especially coming into a setup that is lacking in quality, leadership and coherence.

Is Bundee injured? I didn't see anything about it...

Nursing a hamstring that he's been carrying apparently.

Just mentioned in the build-up on premier sports there that we haven't beaten a team in the top 10 since Munster on new year's day.…

Good luck to Shane Mallon from Bornacoola. Not far from this parish.

Carty and Oliver won't enjoy watching that one back

Very poor defence between Oliver and I think Forde there.

Edit: it was as jack and Oliver. Both shot up and hit no one

Does that elbow on blade deserve a check?

Forde and Hawkshaw both bit in hard and early for that try too. Was very easy.

    That's a woeful lineout

Been all too common this season unfortunately. And usually in the opposition 22

Carty and Heffernan absolutely destroyed any momentum building there

Thats the third time they've left that space for Foley at the front of the lineout. So basic

Tough going watching Connacht this season. Don’t see it getting much better next season. Could easily get worse in fact.

We are a rabble tonight. Cant wait to hear the rubbish Wilkins will come up with to explain it after the game

Connachts lineout has been absolutely dogshìt all season....

Ah stop that is chronic again from Carty. You'd feel for a lad like young Mallon having to apart of this.

Carty is going to have one of 'those' games today by the looks of it.

    Cordero looks lively atleast

Connacht should play the Galway hurlers, at least one of them might get a win that way

Apart from Cordero who looked sharp once or twice and a bit of good defence from Jennings hard to name anyone else who had been even OK

First time we go through a few phases and lads look out on their feet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 471 ✭✭Tommybojangles

    Is carty even trying anymore

There was 3 or 4 lovely offloads in that Forde, Hawky and O'Brien break in fairness. Much better.

That half was so depressing not even the regular doom mongers of this thread can be arsed to comment....

It was pretty bad for sure. I wasn't expecting a win but had hoped we might show a bit more fight and at least put in some kind of performance.

I really don't know where we are going with the current coaching setup. No single aspect of our game seems cohesive

Howi is carty called a professional rugby player?

Dooley is getting creamed in the scrum, expect to see Buckley soon.

    God we are really poor.

    Sean O Brien looks good.
