I have a ticket for the wheelchair area available at cost price for Slash's gig in the O2 at the end of March if anyone wants it? I have surgery around then, so can't go. Genuine offers only.

Do we reckon theres any chance of Pantera gig in Ireland?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,636 ✭✭✭Wrongway1985

Likely but any notion would be after their obligation to Download festival is as good as out of the way.

Just in case there is any interest, Host (Ghost Tribute) and Rammlied (Rammstein Tribute) will be playing The Limelight Belfast on Friday 18 October, and The Grand Social Dublin on Saturday 19 October.

Serious lineup for Bloodstock next year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,636 ✭✭✭Wrongway1985

Impressive headliners sure but all aswell as a bunch of the undercard have played here <2 years ago on their latest albums.

It works for them it's sold out but looks a bit like Download lite now imo. Granted DL has changed their trajectory also.

Bloodstock will look underwhelming to me as per when the likes of Alcatraz,Brutal Assault and Summer Breeze flesh out their line ups.

Mastodon added today….It's definitely the best lineup they've had there imo

Three Days Grace announced a European tour today. No Irish date, but I'll be in London on the 12th Dec for Ice Nine Kills, so will be staying the extra night for them on the 13th.

Rumors DL will be four days again next year. I found the lineup this year a bit meh for the headliners but looking forward to some of the smaller acts

Opeth play the Bord Gais Theatre on Sunday the 2nd of August. Poster reads like its going to be their most recent (and utterly incredible) album played in full.

Does anyone know where I might find out about Epic Fest 2026? My nephew is into one band, but tickets appear to be daily only, and wouldn't want to get for wrong day.

June 15th, I can see it being upgraded like last year when they went to The Academy.

Lzzy and Joe from Halestorm playing an acoustic show in Academy on June 19th...Same night as Metallica

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,636 ✭✭✭Wrongway1985

That would be cool pity I'm away. I suppose Metallica goers could spin to Belfast the night in between, may even be cheaper.

Marco’s Irish Return: A Very Special Acoustic Set

After the incredible success of A Special Evening with Fabienne Erni, many of you asked, “What’s next?” — and we are delighted to deliver.

We are thrilled to welcome back a familiar face who has appeared many times on our YouTube channel: Marco Pastorino, known for his work with Virtual Symmetry, Temperance, and Serenity.

If you have been following us, you already know Marco from the massive progressive metal sound of Virtual Symmetry and the electrifying power metal energy of Temperance. Now, he returns to Ireland for something truly special — an intimate and unique acoustic performance.

Join us on 21st and 22nd February for a weekend filled with passion, technical brilliance, and the warm, inviting soul of Italian metal. This is your chance to experience a world-class musician up close, performing deep cuts and fan favourites in a way you’ve never heard before — raw, personal, and unforgettable.

Special Guests: Brakeloose – A Unique Duo Performance

We are honoured to welcome Ireland’s own Brakeloose as the opening act. A true local favourite, they have impressed audiences time and time again — even performing recently in Helsinki.

For this event, we’ve set them a special challenge: Brakeloose will perform as a duo, delivering a stripped-back, intimate version of their powerful sound. This rare format promises something truly unique for both longtime fans and first-time listeners.

    Who Is This Event For?

    This evening is perfect for:

    • Fans who missed Marco’s previous Irish performances
    • Lovers of power, prog, rock, and acoustic music
    • Anyone curious to hear classic songs reimagined in a new way
    • Fans who missed Brakeloose’s previous acoustic set
    • Supporters of Marco and Brakeloose alike
    • Longtime followers of Metal Galaxy who want to create lasting metal memories

This is more than a gig — it’s about building lasting bonds and unforgettable experiences within the Irish metal community.

Meet Marco – Hear Your Song, Your Story Awaits

Before the concert, we are offering an exclusive and intimate experience:

“Meet Marco, Hear Your Song, Your Story Awaits”

This special 30-minute pre-show event gives you the chance to connect directly with Marco in a small-group setting.

    You’ll have the opportunity to:

    • Request any song you’d like him to play (nothing is too crazy!)
    • Get merchandise signed
    • Take a photo to remember the evening
    • Share a personal musical moment with a versatile artist known from Virtual Symmetry, Temperance, and Serenity

Please note:This ticket does not include entry to the main concert. Concert tickets must be purchased separately.

Price?Pay what you like. It’s completely open — donations can also be made during the event.

The catch?Spots are very limited to keep the experience intimate and ensure everyone gets their requested song. Early booking is highly recommended.
