Does anyone have a Sofar HYD EP that they would sell? Once it is capable of 100A charging and discharging the version doesn't matter. It would only be for battery charging.

I have a new Deye Hybrid that I haven't fitted yet but the Sofar would suit me better in some ways.

Why would the Sofar suit you better? The Deye 5.5kW is capable of 120A charging and discharging from memory

It is and the 120A would of course be better.

But I had a ME3000 and it was silent, the Deye is far from I'm told. It would be installed in a room with other uses.

Also I could get the Sofar to have an import/export of less than 5 watts when on battery usage.

Both have there pros and cons.

Looking for a solar charge controller. Must be able to charge a 48V battery, must have a max DC voltage input of at least 200V and must be a bargain. Apart from that, anything considered, even oldies 😁

5kW and lower I think are quiet, but the bigger ones have active cooling.

If anyone is interested I'll have the following for sale next month:

SEPLOS Mason 280L kit, battery cable pack and 16 X 3.2V B grade 305Ah LiFePO4 cells. €2,500 or would consider €1,000 plus a 5kWh Purdrive battery if compatible with mine.

Is this a used kit you're selling? If so, how long has it been in use?

This is the one you are talking about, or the server rack style?

Yes that one, all still in unopened boxes and cells are being shipped at present.

Surely you'd easily get €2k for your existing Puredrive (especially if you pump it in the Facebook group. On that basis, €500 extra for 10kWh.

    I think you're absolutely nuts - or have I missed something ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 154 ✭✭olympicweights

The last Puredrive I saw sold went for approx. €1600. I don't think I'm nuts I just don't have the time atm to deal with the diy battery so I am going to sell it on if someone is interested…

Price drop on this. SMA Sunny Boy are the best inverters in the world, bar none. This one is old, but working fine. Was going to keep it, but keeping my Solis 6kW makes more sense in my setup

Vertical battery box for sale. Brand new and never used. I decided to install my cells on a shelf in my garage, hence selling the box for pretty much what I paid for it.

This is a service wanted rather than product. In Oranmore have done all the donkey work doing ground mount and buying industry standard panels and a very reputable standards compliant inverter. It's all built and ready to go. All cables run. Everything there. The issue is I can't get an electrician to do it, whether busy, or bit wary of whatever. I don't need an NC6, it can be off the books. Just want it to be safely installed on the house grid. If anyone knows of an electrician in south Galway who'd be interested DM me. Thanks.

If you are getting the inverter grid connected, have a smart meter (or will get one) and you don't submit an NC6, you could be in trouble if you ever export electricity
