    Nothing in that.

The best thing you can say about Northampton is that they're only down by 12. Woeful handling all game - Mitchell is useless against any kind of structured defence

that’s mental they didn’t look at that red card incident, can’t understand that. ECPR will have some explaining to do after this game.

Nothing in it? He shoulders Moloney in the head at a dead ruck...line it up and hit him. No excuse for it, wasn't a dynamic situation, just a dirty shot on a player who couldn't avoid the hit.

    Raynal’s just a disgrace

Leinsters defence has been phenomenal. They've shut down so many Northampton attacks and it was only in the final 5 minutes of the half that the opposition started coming into the game.

Conversely our attack hasn't been great. Lots of one out passes that were met on the gain line. Would have been great to score that try right on 40 minutes, but again we got too bunched up and narrow. Only option was to stay tight and we eventually knocked on.

Osborne looking like he's been in the starting 15 for years.

that ruck hit was just in front of me and it didn’t look like there was anything in to be honest, his hand did come through and knock the ball on however.

Leinster are very meh here tbh, but Northampton are hot garbage. You’ll win this handily.

A performance like this in the final and there will be no 5th star though.

We should probably be further ahead considering how much territory we've had. I'm worried about Northampton's ability to find the edge quickly. They've shown they can do it a few times and if they cut out the handling errors they can score trys.

But we've had the majority of the ball and if we stop making mistakes of our own we should win. Saw a fair few Northampton forwards blowing hard during that half. Given them a proper workout.

Saints have spent about 0.2 seconds in the Leinster 22.

There are dog **** when they are put under pressure one or two out.

Leinster doing what they need to do to win this easily.

The difference in hunger between the teams is enormous

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,858 ✭✭✭theVersatile

Odd take. Hunger is about the only thing Northampton have had. The issues is their hopeless accuracy

    It's not odd.

The hungry to fold around in defense, to get into the line (see Baird break), to front up carrying on attack,

Saints are second best at every single aspect. Leinster are making yardage at every contact.

They certainly had no issue bundling Baird there!

Not the first time today Porter has been rewarded for nosediving in the scrum. I imagine Toulouse will have a comprehensive video package at the ready

    Wow.

Kept Northampton out twice then hand them a try.

    Poor management by Leinster

Yeah, not great. Initial wide pass to Hendy looked well forward mind you.
