Yeah, nobody should get too excited of course. But FWIW I did enjoy the teaser more than I expected to; gory scenes, some body horror, a cast of relative unknowns, claustrophobic setting, and fast as **** facehuggers.

Alvarez apparently spoke at length with both Scott and Cameron (kinda hoping he paid more attention to Cameron to be fair lol).

We'll see in August, I guess.

Can't under the hate for Alien: Reurrection. It's no masterpiece but it's a decent enough film.

And of course, facehuggers do like to..... Klingon.

Will be exciting to see the utter stupidity in some of the crew's decision making in this installment. By the time the next trailer comes out imagine we will be able to pick out the Ripley-esque heroine.

Its not great, he also lifted a lot of ideas for the movie and reused them in Firefly. I am not a fan of Firefly.

When you say all the "tropes and tics he later used", are you refering to how he reused them in Firefly?
