Typical Velo. Their large bags are what I would term small kilo bags, a perfect compliment for their small 250g bags, which are not even close.

However, with that discount, I might just grab a 3 bag lot of the Ratnagiri Estate.

That's It, it's a bit cheeky that their small bags that look 250g are only 200g....we need some standardisation 😁

I've seen some crowd have 190g bags, some 230g bags.

In saying that the Velo big 700g bags with a code are decent value, and their roast I find is consistent enough to leave a lot of flavour.

Get ready for a sale like no other! We're thrilled to announce our massive coffee sale, but here's the twist: the discounts are dropping every two hours starting from 10am! 🎉 Starting at a whopping 25% off, our large and small coffee bags are up for grabs with our exclusive discount code "BHCOFFEESALE"! As the hours tick by, the discount decreases by 5%, until it hits 10%, where it will remain for the rest of the weekend. With this unique setup, every moment counts – the sooner you shop, the more you save! Offer ends on Monday, 6th of May.

Just got that in an email from Velo. Personally not interested as 7Kg of beans just arrived today from the Netherlands.

It is 10 am at the moment, 10% discount at the moment, it was the same at 9 am.

I guess 25% off kinda similar to their bag size .

Who's the Netherlands crowd if you don't mind me asking? And would you recommend them? I'm assuming so if you're ordering 7kg 🙂

    Cafe du Jour. https://cafedujour.ie/

I buy green beans and roast them myself in the oven, about 900g a time. Price varies between €13-16 a kilo. I don't just do it because it's cheaper, it's more because I think it tastes better on average. I'm wondering if the slower rate of doing it in the oven makes a difference compared to commercial machines. There are no storage issues with green beans and with the fixed shipping it makes sense to go large.

Anyway, their green beans are certainly agreeable with my palate, so I would suspect their pre roasted coffee would be as good. Wish I had ordered some of their Rwandan roast beans, now I notice it.
