Gript-A source of misinformation. **Read OP before posting**

Looks like cowards to me, who fear any proper questions

One single complaint upheld in four years under the auspices of the Press Council.

Last year the paper of record published a prank article written by an AI bot about fake tanning being racist, and an account of a mass assault on a Finglas migrant camp that didn't remotely pass the smell test.

They all reported on the Carlow teachers.

One complaint.

One. Out of thousands of articles.

Can you imagine how many daily complaints the press council must have to sift through from nutters desperate to get Gript shut down?

It looked like the press conference had merely come to its conclusion and gript ran out of time, not the politicians ignoring them.

Politicians cant stand there indefinitely, they have work to do. Typical Gript twisting appearances.

Gript is ideologically motivated shoite, of course it is.

Sadly our media has been hit by years of cuts and it has found a niche. It’s not hard to see that the IT has gone a certain way when it was codded with an article about fake tan being racist.

Anyway it’s a shame that we seem to be going the way of the UK with publications, most notably Gript, covering the news according to their agenda.

The traditional media has gone through a good 15 years of constant cuts, and sfa was done about it. Society is increasingly seeing the effects I believe.

It’s distasteful to many people, but it is essential that the State works to provide an effective funding model for honest, unbiased media. Easier said than done I know, especially at a time when the country’s best publication can get caught out by a spoofer pretending they wrote an article about fake tan beint racist.

MSM in my opinion offer a herd, group think reporting... basically offer all of the same opinion, are politically aligned (they will never admit that) to the FF, FG and some labour. Are biased. thats fine. Don't read gript as a rule unless an article is shared. I find some of their articles interesting, not all. For me the rise of this 'citizen journalist' asking questions, there is one or two of them fuckers should be walked off a cliff.

You would worry about the state of our education system when you see so much respect for Gript.ie.

when all you get from RTE is misinformation and its accepted then everything else is then misinformation(objective questioning and truth).
