Has anyone received their SOL this week? My request was submitted on 1st and nothing available yet.

I submitted mine on the first, got it on the 10th and resubmitted it on the 10th(nothing back from resubmission)

Submitted mine on 2nd Jan and nothing since. Did update the marital status around then on the website so not sure is that linked to it. It’s still pending also.

Changing status may delay your SOL also, a bit of work involved in such. So your status changed in 2023? And you notified Revenue in Jan 2024?

I submitted mine on 3rd Jan and it's as basic as possible really, just my tax credits and nothing else. Still haven't heard anything back.

The will calculate any overpayment in tax for 2023 as a joint or single as what you changed to. I'd give it a bit of time before contacting them. As it's more work than just a straight forward SOL and a bit of manual work is involved.

Got my updated SOL today - after submitting my updates this day last week for medical receipts, health insurance refund etc

That was a quick turnaround, seems to be a bit random.

I phoned Revenue today and they apologised for the delay but they're snowed under and I'll have my SOL in the next couple of days.

When you go to view your updated SOL does it just bring you to the current one in My Documents or do you get the generic “we are still proscessing your request” message?

I resubmitted mine last week with more medical receipts and now when I go to view my SOL in Review you Tax 2020-2023 section it just brings me to my previous SOL in my Documents. Nothing about a new one processing

Yes! Exactly the same as you, I had submitted an enquiry to My Enquiries to check if I had done it right, but no one has responded to me yet. I'm going to try phone them when they open today to make sure it is processing.

    Same

I got through without any wait at all on the phone yesterday. I just wanted to be sure I had it done correctly.

I rang at 9.30 and got through immediately. She told me it is processing, they're just a bit behind. So I'm happy with that once I know something is going on.

Applied for SoL on 6th Jan, included health expenses for 2023.

Checked last night, not available, "still processing" message.

Just checked my bank account and my refund has been lodged! About to log into revenue to see the paperwork.

I applied last Thursday the 11th my statement was available today at lunchtime

Nothing still but I got an email back from my request for an update that implies they’re auditing me so that explains it.

Work away anyway I haven’t anything to hide so I don’t care. Just annoying the delay.

It will issue “in due course” I was told two days ago so we will see what that means!

Applied on 4th and resubmitted on thr 11th. Nothing back yet........I'm only expecting to get the 500 rent credit

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,725 ✭✭✭✭shmeee

Refunds could hit accounts before the SOL comes in, all depends on the timing of the issuing of the batch payments to taxpayers. So keep an eye on your bank account from 6 -10 working days onwards after completing your return.

It's all processed and issued in various batches.

Still nothing after applying Jan 3, can't get through to them on the phone as they're busy. Submitted an enquiry so we will see how it goes!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,725 ✭✭✭✭shmeee

Your on 11 working days from submitting the return. Give it a few days if can, at home we've done them around the same date and one was paid this week and one still pending.

Submitted mine on the 7th, realised immediately I had forgotten to include health expenses. Still waiting for sol just so I can resubmit.
