Disable sensor HKC quantum

I have a HKC quantum alarm and one windows sensor is malfunctioning, I can't put the alarm on because it says it's open. At random times the panel will start beeping for a fault (the window sensor), it's getting a bit annoying. I replaced the battery but that didn't help. I rang the guy who installed it originally but he no longer installs alarms so couldn't/wouldn't help. I will replace the sensor at some point but for now could somebody please tell me how to disable it?

I have the engineer code and user code, I'd really appreciate any help.
