    Ah lads I’m no Ballygunner fan but the ref absolutely rode them there. That was a joke


    Philip Mahony and Sullivans yellow cards were hardly even fouls

    Seemed to me the referee was doing everything he could to get the match to extra time, the last free was ok , but there were a couple of very soft ones to level up the match before that.

    Very naive of the Ballygunner player to even go near a St Thomas's man in the last possession surely he should have seen what the ref was like.

    Mahony was a definite yellow. They showed a replay of the Shane OSullivan “foul”. I don’t think he was even in the picture.

    Seriously was that ref from salthill or what and what with that this nonsense no fan of Ballygunner. Shouldn’t matter what Waterford club team is out there should get behind them .

    Yea ok I don’t know where Mahony was supposed to go though your man ran straight into him

    the o Sullivan one was ridiculous

    the ref telling Ballygunner players to get up a couple times when not giving a free

    maybe this ref has an issue with their prior history of going down easily

    Referee couldn't wait to blow final whistle.

    Surely Ballygunner will make changes ; some forwards haven't been performing.

    Get the ball to Dessie & Fitzgerald ; simple as.

    As a Limerick man that referee will ride a team if he gets it in to his head - the last ten minutes he gave everything to St Thomas - a joke !

    I hope ballygunner come out on top in extra time for fairness sake

    Are yellow cards in normal time not counted in extra time?

    I thought Ballygunnar full back was booked in normal time and again in extra time.

    Ballygunner should have closed it out in extra time. Nearly lost the fecking thing.

    you would hope St Thomas can’t bring that intensity again but who knows

    Crucial misses and bad decision making during normal time and extra time cost them am afraid . That extra gear never arrived am afraid . On to the county championship .Not sure Fitzgerald was injured or exhausted definetly shouldn’t have been taken off .

    Gutting way to lose but as decies siad mistakes cost Ballygunner. St Thomas deserve to win it outright

    Definitely some sort of curse for Waterford clubs against Galway ones

    Wonder will The Ballygunner contingent return for the start of the league
