2 great goals to be fair....Wolves were by a long shot the better team so they deserved that.

Wolves playing to their potential or spurs go full spursy?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,230 ✭✭✭eigrod

That Sarabia equaliser was as good a goal as you’ll see. Goal of the season contender.

It's a tough loss for them. Their next 4 games after the international break are, Villa, City, West Ham and Newcastle... that's a tough run of fixtures!

Massive 5 mins there in Spurs season. Demoralised before the international break. The worst time to lose a game.

2 horrible defeats back to back for Spurs. Looks like the honeymoon period under Ange is coming to an end and normality is resuming

Monday night wasn’t a Spursy but today was . They won’t win next two either - villa and Man City

This is where ange shows how much he's got. Inspiring these players between now and the Villa game will be difficult. If he can get them back on track quickly then he's a quality coach.

Wouldn’t be too hard on Spurs considering the players they’re missing - but Ange cannot continue to try and play the same way without those players.

The media reaction to how they lost on Monday was way overblown, and he needs to have a plan b for when it’s clearly not working.

Spurs reverting to type, they need a plan b or learn how to dig in sometimes and grind out a win.

People talk about these plan b's all the time. They were playing winning football and the players were all in and loved playing the system. It's belief that's needed, no doubting yourself and pulling the ball back when you should be playing it forward, no trying to take on a player when the system says pass it backwards.

Confidence in what you are doing is the most successful way to play football.

Look at Liverpool the other night, Klopp had no plan b, they just played the same way all through the game. Same with Alex Ferguson back in the day. He believed in his system and stuck with it.

Sometimes you plan before a game to use a different system but it's very rare that you see a team make huge alterations during a game and have success with it.

Arsenal not getting a second could come back to haunt them. 1-1

Pressure on them to deliver the 3 points.

Fine header, that was a very quick response from Arsenal. 2-1

Keeper didn't cover himself in glory in fairness.

Trossard's corners have been very good, right in on the keeper who has been poor on Every corner. Ball breaks out and a very nice finish by Zinchenko 3-1 and that should be that.

The kind of finish you would have on first on your Youtube clips.

Vieira comes on and gets sent off. Studs up and caught him onthe knee, had to go.

Bournemouth take the lead with 30 to go. Newcastle not coping with european football too well tonight.

Time for them to step it up.

Just saw a mad stat - Man United are the form team in the PL over the last five games.

Given how poorly they are playing and how little they seem to be scoring I was actually shocked reading it.

    Solanke again. Newcastle look toothless.

thought var were gonna do their thing, but correct decision - goal stands.

if anything it was a newcastle handball.

as an aside, are the standards for an attacking and defending handball the same?

dirty challenge by lascelles, possibly red

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,230 ✭✭✭eigrod

Bournemouth could’ve won by 5 or 6 here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 19,916 ✭✭✭✭y0ssar1an22

they've broken from midfield so many times.

newcastle must have some bad injuries.

If Simeone hadn't just signed a new contract I'd have said he'd be number one priority.

Gary Neville realising his bit on MNF about angles means he can't say it wasn't a goal.
