Plastering Rates June 2023

Hi, I probably can't give an exactly like for like example but maybe at least some guide to help on my plastering requirements.

1.Sand and cement external (scratch and finish - scudding a thing of the past in most builds now). This including preparing steel over large doors/windows for plastering.

2. Sand and cement on internal walls followed by skimming.

In the South East (rural) prices were in the region of 7 to 7.50 per sqft labour only - my prices were from before Christmas though so probably towards the higher end of that range now if now more.

the plasterer is currently on site doing my new build. the rates below are ex. VAT.

1. sand and cement render external (scud, scratch and finish coat) = €30/m2
2. sand and cement render internal (scud and scratch) = €10/m2
3. skimming (2 layers) = €10/m2

the above includes install of beading, insulated plasterboard to reveals and cleaning up after each day. the plasterer is based in east cork - a 5 man team.

two other quotes i got were almost exactly the same.

Could u pm the details of the plasterer who charges a day rate also ?

East cork. Plasterers only quote labour only.
