I read your post . I explained the difference between why RT should not be accepting money that he knew was not what he was due and knew was not was being declared as his salary, and simultaneously putting forward a certain image .

Fitzer is really annoying Tubridy. Very funny.

Noel keeps saying €350m organisation like he's trying to dwarf €150k.

Been away from radio & internet since 2pm. How are we getting on this afternoon - a repeat of this morning? Back online just to hear the eegit from Louth.

On behalf of the people of County Louth, can I apologise for the absolute clown that is Peter Fitzpatrick.

Please be assured that we do speak english and can put together a coherent sentence.

Jesus wept - this TD is a laughing stock. People of Louth, why did you vote this guy in ?

This guy is showing that he doesn't really understand the ins and outs. It's like a barstool conversation.

To be real for a moment. Is there a way RTE can survive this?

Peter Fitz is a fan of the two.

His closing statement is patently clear here.

Very clever guy to hoodwink us all!!

I think some of these TDs think this is their big moment to show their constituents how good they are up in Dublin. What it really proves though is how incredibly stupid and downright sloppy some of them are. As thick as two short planks.

In fairness Fitzpatrick is a disaster, totally unfit for his position and I don't blame RT for being flustered.

    "I love your county"

    Preferred the John Mullane version.

    Go on, Postman.

    DO YOU HAVE A CONTRACT?

That rattled them. Big conflab with the solicitor.

No it’s not plausible not even remotely. They knew well what they were at and are hiding behind this Renault deal and when the Renault money dried up RTE footed the bill. That’s on RTE but Kelly would have known what was happening, while it may be difficult to prove such a thing; I don’t think it’s remotely plausible to suggest otherwise.

They need to forensically push Tubs on his reason for leaving the LLS. Tell him flat out you don't believe him. It's a remarkable coincidence.

Did he address the interview he did 2 weeks prior stating he had no intention of stepping away?

"Ryan Tubridy and Dee Forbes are seen to have jumped ship at the same time…"

    "Ryan is still under contract."

    "Sorry, he's not under contract."

"But were you not told the contract was up there, on May 31?"

    "It's being renegotiated, for radio-only…"

Tubridy to Fitzpatrick: "I love your county very much."

Fitzpatrick to Tubridy: "You say the way you feel? There's plenty in this country feeling worse."

“How could you be afraid of me?”

Something tells me that NK is no wallflower.

That was Peter (its starting to stop raining) Fitzpatrick.

It’s going in circles now, better off cutting it short as both Tubs and Kelly lying

if I was in it, would stand up, say to the lads they are lying and no point going any further

Jesus I didn’t see this mornings output but I see mattie McGrath and RBB are in the room. This won’t be in the middle it’ll be either box office or a bin fire.

Kelly being briefed to quote 'confidentiality' but we get the idea.

No.. he might not be polished, well-spoken or presented - but he did a great job there to fluster the 2 lads and have them stumbling, visibility irritated and showing their arrogance towards a (like him or not) elected representative.

It's exactly what they DON'T want - nice, long-winded soft-ball questions and deference to RT's celeb status is what they want and expect, and they (RT especially) seem get very annoyed when particularly this last part isn't forthcoming.
