NK still playing the "following orders" card. RT still professing confidence in him.

No matter how much Noel Kelly tries to obfuscate about these invoices, the buck stops with NKM and his related companies. It's his business name on the invoices, not RTEs. He'd better shape up.

    The Gardai? For what reason.

Good questions by the TD here.

The following answer from Ryan Tubridy is brought to you by Renault.

“In some ways this is cathartic…”

Christ the bullshit is really flowing out of Ryan now.

Tubs is a minnow in this. Kelly has so much more influence on RTE

    "I respect the Oireachtas"

Bullshit he's suddenly worried about the ramifications of his bullshit move with the late documentation this morning.

Bet him and NK thought they were being real clever bastards with that one

What's the reason for being reasonable?

    Is that an unreasonable question?

Of bigger concern is how are the pearl clutching outraged posters going to fill in their time once this has all blown over !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,429 ✭✭✭jammiedodgers

I don't understand how Tubridy can just pass off the question to Kelly once he starts to get hot under the collar

Really needs a Tony Soprano moment to liven this this thing up. Far too many jabs been thrown

"If you have some kind of sexual proclivity with that RTE director or whatever, now is the time to tell us! Poppers and weird sex!"

I commented on. this earlier, I've never seen anything like this before or tolerated by an Oireachtas Committee before.

I think i will send an invoice fraud redirect to NK on RTE headed paper and use my bank details.

He seems to pay all invoices without question. They are a company with a 350milliom turnover don't you know!

Published RTE salaries are 3 years behind.

    What a joke.

So they have copped on to the spinning out of answers by Tubs and Kelly. Telling them just to answer the question. Finally instead of this waffle from Kelly

Also if staff want to work in RTE then yes they should have representation and they should be someone else apart from Noel Kelly who has shown he is corrupt and not adhering to guidelines for good business practise.

Let him off to work with BBC etc

Lol, I forgot about Dee's letter to Ryan saying no reduction in his fees.

He's going to say i took a paycut.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,319 ✭✭✭✭_Kaiser_

I'm guessing it must be part of the conditions of them agreeing to appear. Same with the solicitor jumping in when needed.

Even calling that a golden handshake is kind.

What about the Tubridy lovers since he'll never been on television again?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,433 ✭✭✭✭leahyl

He is extremely arrogant. Then, once again, NK butting in to answer for Tubs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,309 ✭✭✭evolvingtipperary101

Ryan is answering nothing. Hiding. \

Can I answer that? - NK.

'It was never invoiced'. Has that excuse ever worked once revenue get involved?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,280 ✭✭✭ZookeeperDub

Why doesn't someone just turn around and say "answer the f**king question"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,054 ✭✭✭Shelga

How can he claim he took a 40% pay cut, when they say themselves that doesn’t include the money from the Renault fiasco?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,433 ✭✭✭✭leahyl

I actually didn't mind Tubs before all this debacle came out.....not so sure now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,319 ✭✭✭✭_Kaiser_

Have Renault made any statements on this?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,038 ✭✭✭✭SEPT 23 1989

Renault will be obliged to clarify their role in the creation of these deals. I'm sure they're an innocent party in all of this but I think it's fair to say that Ryan and Noel made a mistake by using Renault's name in so many answers. This will backfire.
