Yes but it's expected that you be respectful. The same way that i would be expected to be respectful, if i ever visit the Limerick thread. In fairness though most of the non Cork contributors on here are fine.

There's one lad from Kilkenny who likes to come in here from time to time, to take the occasional sly little swipe at us, and we had some total and utter flute from Waterford on here before me, giving me a lecture about how Corks history and tradition means nothing.😂 But other than that most of them are fine.

Three u20 all Irelands in four years would suggest that the hurlers are coming through, but they have to do it at senior level now and hopefully they will. Although in that game against Limerick last week, our two best performing forwards were the old guard of Hoggie and Seamus Harnedy.

So when Cork players receive the same treatment you'll have no problem with it these things tend to work both ways

We have got it for years and we havent been physical enough to take it. I have no problem saying that.

Have you seen Cork in recent years? Seriously??

Referred to as soft wristy hurlers, not physical enough and 'blown away' by the more physical teams.

We've had that treatment for years!

RIP Teddy Boy. 😪 Him and all on both teams responsible for my greatest sporting memory with Cork doing the double

Great minds think alike! I was trying to find that out too. On Sunday Game they said Dwyer was U20 next year when he patted Screeney on the head! Just read that Diarmuid Healy, Jack Leahy, Buckley, Tadhg O’Connell and Darragh O’Sullivan all U20 next year too. I think a few unused Subs as well. Should be still a strong team again hopefully next year,

Timmy Wilk, who started or came on in every game I think and always played well enough was an unused sub, underage for next 2 years I think.

Sad news RIP Teddy. The only man to win an All Ireland for the same county team in the same year in the field of play for both codes hurling and football. Denis Walsh would also be mentioned but he was a sub in the 1990 All Ireland football final v Meath.

There’s a story of Anthony Daly going into a pub in Blackpool one night and having a fuss made of him and an auld fella at the bar goes “and how many all Irelands did ye win?”

    “Two” says Daly.

Man takes a sip and says “we’d a fella did that in a fortnight”

This is really really sad news. The man was an out and out Cork legend. Teddy Mac was the only man in history, to win two senior all Ireland medals in the one year. Due to fact that the duel player is now obsolete, that is something that'll never happen again.

Of course his championship debut with the hurlers was in the 1986 all Ireland final, the day we shocked Galway and the rest of the country and it was the day that Tom Cashman told the lord mayor of Galway (RIP John Mulholland) to have a look at that! Thanks for everything you did for Cork Teddy and may the great man RIP.
