New Petrol Station - Liffey Valley

I hope it will pay back for the owners, but somehow I doubt it unless they do well on the retail end. In a bit over 20 years time there will no longer be any petrol or diesel cars on the road, except a handful of over 40 year old classic cars that are exempt

Presumably Tesco had permission for one with their new store and it never got built due to Tesco backing away from it.

They would want to be doing a cheap build for the reasons unkel mentioned - Certa stations don't have the other money making things that will survive - or thrive with charging times - there being a sharp reduction in combustion cars (shops, basically).

havent tesco stopped doing petrol stations i Ireland? i think the one in Maynooth was also converted to Certa but I'm not 100% sure
